“Hacienda El Sombrero feels like coming home for dinner. The staff are all incredibly friendly, and at least one of the owners is in every time we've come in. They always make a point to come have a quick chat with us, and that kind of customer service really makes the difference. You can tell this is a labor of love. The food is absolutely delicious and always consistent. We've never had a single bad experience. Pro tip: My husband and I always ask for the habanero and jalapeño salsa. So spicy. So delicious. Coming from San Diego, we had an incredibly hard time finding Mexican food that stood up to what we had experienced previously. We are SO happy to have found Hacienda El Sombrero. I would highly recommend that everyone give it a try!”

“I went here on a date with someone very special and they gave us a perfect table The music was wonderful the atmosphere was very romantic The food was absolutely perfect My date had the steak fajitas They came out in a hot mocahete'. I had the chicken tostada and steak chimichanga everything was cooked to perfection and when they saw our chemistry they gave us the dessert and the house It was absolutely amazing They made our date even better. I would recommend this place to anyone who's looking for good food here in Mount Prospect or anywhere in the surrounding land area. The waiters were kind and patient It very knowledgeable about the menu.”

“Walked into the restaurant and was shocked all the color and decoration just makes the experience feel more authentic, not only that the food was seriously some of the best food ive ever had in my life, i ordered the grande burrito suzio and when i took a bite I felt like ratatouille when he mixed the grape and cheese together, just an explosive amount of flavor that hits every spot needed, and the portions are big too, not only that the meat was actually marinated and seasoned which blew my mind, music is just the right volume and the waiters and owner where very nice and when above and beyond for me, they even plugged in my phone for me because it was about to die. Im trying to find something to complain about but nothing comes to mind, when it comes to food and service these people have perfected it down to a tea, from now on i will only be going here for Mexican food, if I could give a 100 start review I would because this is the best place ive been to hands down, dont belive me?
