“The staff was nice but what spoiled the evening was the lack of basic maintenance and their food. The thin tortillas for the tacos were hard and cold, the meat was ok but very small portions. Not authentic tacos. The women’s had no toilet paper, three stalls had to share one roll. The first stall doesn’t close (door not properly installed). And there was no soap or anything to dry your hands with. It was both a pricy and disappointing experience.”
“Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! My mom was craving Mexican food. While walking on west Randolph Street i was debating between Bodega and the one next to them. Long story short i have gave them a try and the food was too salty, premade, greasy and way too expensive. I BELIEVE THE ONLY REASON THEY ARE IN BUSINESS IS JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE ON RANDOLPH STREET. I will make sure that I don’t make another mistake and step a foot in that restaurant. Friendly advice, have respect for your money and yourself and stay away from this place.”

First off, they’re charging a service fee, which already raises expectations—but the food didn’t match that at all. The biggest issue was the portion of protein in the taco. There was barely any meat inside—mostly tortilla with a little bit of filling, some sauce, and toppings. For the price and added fees, you expect a decent amount of protein, not something that feels half-filled. Flavor-wise, it wasn’t bad, but it’s hard to enjoy a taco when it feels like they skimped on the main ingredient. It came off more like a snack than an actual meal. Between the extra service charge and the lack of value in portion size, it just didn’t feel worth it. I’d only come back if they improve their portions or adjust their pricing to match what you’re actually getting.”
