“Finally made it to Mr.”

Finally made it to Mr. Kimchi and now I get the hype!! It was insanely busy when we went and we waited about 45 minutes for a table of three on a weekend night, but it was worth it. We ordered a ton of different meats and everything came out quickly. The pork belly was really good, and the pork steak was also super tasty. The spicy chicken had lots of flavor, and the bulgogi was our favorite. I also like the steamed egg and all the side dishes that come with the meal. Even though the place was packed, the workers were so efficient and constantly checked in on us. The smoke sucker is right above the pan to help with the smoke going in your face. Overall, great food, great service, and I would definitely come back.

Our server (according to my receipt) was "All".. idk if this is serious or not lol. Our server was a gentleman and attentive. The interior in this location is quite different from their original Golf Road location. It has been awhile but the 1st location feels more restaurant-like compared to this location, which has more a sports bar feel. The Kbbq experience is still excellent. Banchan is still plentiful. I did not take any fotos of the AYCE menu/price because it is still same as the latest I saw in Google reviews. We had a group of 3. Gratuity was auto applied upon checkout. We got the premium menu, no extras, and it was around $45 after everything per person. They have a 2hr ordering window. We arrived 1:15pm and no wait on a Sunday (Oct 26). I would come again!

First of all, I could not stop eating the bulgogi beef, and all of the sides were delicious. The service was extremely patient with my table's many requests, and fulfilled them in a timely manner. Lastly, the general environment of the place was awesome, with lively music and perfect lighting. Definitely coming here again!

Very nice experience overall. Mr Kimchi in Prospect Heights is a new, large, restaurant with modern decor. My family went there on a Friday night, and we were seated within 3 minutes. Our waiter, Robert was very nice, friendly, attentive and professional. He was coming to our table every 10 minutes to make sure we had everything that we needed. The food was excellent, the bulgogi were tender and juicy and went very well with 4 different dipping sauces. We’ve also were offered several side dishes like kimchi, rice noodles, marinated radish and all of them were very fresh and tasty. The rice also was perfect - fresh, little bit sticky and served in a neat pot with a cover to keep it hot. We had fun grilling our meats and the whole experience was perfect.

It was the first visit here for me at 2025/08. (Actually I have visited the other restaurant in Mt Prospect). I arrived here at 11:58am. But there were two other guests. I thought this restaurant is very popular. It was true. This restaurant is "ALL YOU CAN EAT" There are a lot of foods we can chose. I could be served foods quickly. The foods everything I selected was good. The staff was very kind. They changed the steel plate four time even though I did'nt ask for it.

Gilju was amazing!!! Great recommendations and service! We will definitely be back! Spicy marinated pork intestines were delicate and delicious!!! Sad part is that I had no more room in me to eat more!!!
