Joy Yee Plus is a must visiting place in Chinatown, Chicago. When I visited, I ordered refreshing fruit teas with fresh and great quality fruits. The crispy bubble waffle and the soft ice cream are a perfect combo. Joy Yee Plus has a variety of desserts and drinks for all.

Joy Yee is definitely the place to eat at when visiting Chicago’s Chinatown. The menu has so many options. The pho is amazing and the ingredients are quality. The spring rolls and boba teas are excellent too. There is no shortage of servers and the move quickly. It’s efficient and the staff are friendly. We stop in every time we’re in Chicago.

Amazing! We had Shabu Shabu for the first time and loved it! The portions were so big. One beef combo definately feeds two to three people easily. I was so stuffed. The beef broth was delicious. We ordered an extra side of dumplings to add to the broth. There were so many options for add ons or extra noodles or meat. Our server was friendly and helpful. We both got the boba waffle ice cream for dessert which was amazing as well. I highly recommend trying the Shabu Shabu. And for bubble tea Joy Yee is the best!

Sometimes the color drinks taste watery bit I still love this place and will continue to come back. Milk teas, bubble waffle, and drinks are good. If you want less ice or sugar let them know. If you want simple waffle with toppings they do that as well(see photo). Staff are nice and love the place.

I’ve been to the normal Joy Yee for boba, but figured I’d try their specialty shop! The drinks are slightly more expensive, but I think the inclusion of add-ins like honey boba, pudding, etc. make many of the drinks more worthwhile. Either way, the drinks are delicious and the boba tasted super fresh.
