Kristopher Bakery is truly a tasty gem — an absolute must-visit for cake lovers. I first tried their cake at a friend’s birthday bash, and the flavor stayed in my mind ever since. I finally had the chance to visit myself, and it did not disappoint. Their tres leches cakes are incredibly delicious, rich, and mouth-watering, and even the coffee pairs perfectly with their desserts. The customer service is exceptional, warm, and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Everything feels worth the money because you can tell they put real care into what they make. If you're planning for a celebration, just remember that their larger cakes need to be ordered in advance — they create everything fresh, by request, and make each special moment feel even more special. A wonderful spot that’s absolutely worth the visit.

Five stars for the nice lady who works in the back and makes all the food. The cake is amazing and the sandwiches always taste home made. The younger girl that works in front is the kind of server that is rude to females but very nice to men. A great small business I will continue to support. Thanks for being here!

“I absolutely LOVE their tres leches.”

I absolutely LOVE their tres leches. The dulce de leche is my favorite and the vanilla with chocolate is my second favorite. They have other flavors available, as well as choco flan. I live in the suburbs but any time I am in Chicago, I make sure to stop by and get something. If not I'm there every september to treat myself for my birthday! Update 9.14.25 I picked up my favorite cake slices for my birthday. Unfortunately the cake slices don't have enough milk as they used to before. A bit disappointed this year especially after driving 40mins just to pick them up.

sooooo cute I loved it and would much rather go here than any other chain places like Starbucks or Dunkin. Staff was super friendly and gave me extra time to think about what I wanted to eat, which was nice because I didn't have to rush. no seats though, only carry out. Very big menu with more food than I expected, sandwhiches, omelettes, plenty of baked sweets, cake, etc. Coffee menu was average. They have almond and oat milk for milk alternatives. I got a Cafe mocha with almond milk and a roast beef sandwich. It was super good. it reminded me of the coffee my mom made me when I was younger 🥹🥹 the staff helped give it that family vibe too. very comforting and great food. would recommend and will go again when I get the chance!!

I always have a great experience at this place. The owner, Luis, and his wife are incredibly kind and welcoming. They offer the best cakes I have ever tried. I’ve never been a big fan of cake, but this place is the exception. The taste and aroma are truly unique and exceptional. Having been in business for over 20 years, I wish them many more years of success ahead!

I stumbled into this café because I had 10 minutes to kill waiting for the bus. At first glance, I was surprised to see prices below five dollars for a single coffee. The interior of this café is really cozy and doesn’t match the vibes of other Chicago coffee hops in the best way possible; it feels really authentic and welcoming. I got the café au lait and a cinnamon roll to go. The cinnamon roll was so thick and coated in icing. It was the best way to start my day, and the coffee was Intelligentsia, so it was delightfully bitter and roasted perfectly. I hope to come back here and try one of their famous tres leches cakes. This place is just so cute and homey, the prices are unbeatable, and just has such a warm environment to it. Definitely a breath of fresh air from others in the area.

Mostly carry out only, be mindful of that. One of the few truly mom and pop café and bakery left. The best Tres Leches cake I’ve ever had in my life, and I’m Latino, I should know. If you’re driving by. You must stop here for cake. The coffee is bitter sweet. Truly delicious. It’s intelligentsia. It’s great! Give these guys a try if you’re in the neighborhood. Simply the best.

I called in the morning and they kindly held two pieces of cake for me to pick up end of day for at home taste-test by the birthday kid - then made a same-day cake ready for him the next day! It was so delicious even if these other kids don't know what's good - tres leches is best cake hands down!
