“Great dinner experience on a Friday night service was fantastic and the food was just as good”

“Absolutely amazing! Best place to go if you’re looking for a full stomach and the Holy Spirit, workers are so kind and check up on you often. Menu has so many great options, the building itself holds a nostalgic feeling to it, great stop during our way home from a trip to Chicago with friends!”

“The Polo Inn Bed & Breakfast is such a wonderful and cozy place. The atmosphere feel warm and special, you feel like at home the moment you walk in. The food is really delicious, every meal taste fresh and full of flavor. The rooms are comfortable and clean, perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. The staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome every time. I like stay here because it’s quiet, charming and has that unique Chicago vibe.”

“This is a neighborhood gem. Always evolving with the times and has been a cornerstone of South Morgan Street for decades. I used to work here as a teenager and the consistency in the food preparation is just as strong as it ever was. (Rent Hoodlum when you have a chance and look for the scene where the restaurant was reimagined for the film.) Everything was flavorful and well-portioned. The walls are adorned with photos that brought back so many memories of good times and friends. This will always be a great place to go for any meal. It is bolstered by the adjoining banquet hall and has wonderful rooms for a bed and breakfast style getaway within the city limits. Be sure to check out the amazing place that Chef/Owner Dave Samber has maintained since 1985. It is and always will be "Something different. Something wonderful."”

“We have attended many events at the Polo Inn restaurant. It's the best food & the entertainment is very engaging. Dave Sambor is an excellent host & chef.”

“love love love the food, the ambience, everything! the highlight for me was the chef singing with such a beautiful voice 🥹💕”

“The Polo Inn is a great local place to relax and have a delicious meal. We always get the salmon dinner because it is so excellent. It is always very moist and delicious! The soups are outstanding, too. And service is always top notch here. Definitely recommend it! The decor and architectural details of this restaurant makes you feel like you have taken a step back in time to old Chicago with the charm of days gone by. Last time we were here on a Friday night we were treated to a violin concert by a fellow diner, and even the owner started singing Christmas carols!”

“The food was so good. Service was great. The hymns were cool too!”

“Absolutely delicious. Owner came out to greet my sister and I and he was delightful.”

“I have only eaten breakfast here, and they are all amazing. I wish I could make breakfast's this good. The owners, and the waiters are all very polite and friendly. Service and atmosphere are great. They have a street level parking lot just south of the Polo Inn”
