10/10 experience This coffee shop is an absolute gem in Chicago! I tried the banana iced latte and a latte with dulce de leche syrup, and both were incredible. The flavors were perfectly balanced — smooth, rich, and not overly sweet. You can really taste the quality and care in each drink. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax or catch up with a friend. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area!

Oh, how do I count the ways I love Urban Treezs. I discovered this place last winter, and it quickly became a safe haven. The owner is wonderful — an amazing barista who truly cares about what he creates. If you love coffee, this is your spot. He’s one of the only coffee shops in the city that uses Big Shoulders Coffee, and his menu is spot-on. Everything is great, but the chipotle mayo is to die for — he should honestly bottle it and sell it! If you ever find yourself in Pilsen, stop by, grab a coffee, order a sandwich, and soak in the warm, cozy environment.

It is an incredible place to go and have lunch, grab a coffee, have a delicious freshly made juice/ smoothie or just read a book/ do some work. Marco, the owner, is absolutely fantastic. You can tell he loves what he does and has been in Pilsen for several years now. As an established business owner, he has an incredible standard of customer service. His staff is also super helpful and make delicious paninis! If you are in Pilsen, you need to make Urban Treez a must stop! 😊

The atmosphere here is so chill,it made it easy to get work done while still feeling relaxed. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, the customer service was great, and the matcha was honestly one of the best I’ve had. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Excellent hidden gem!! Great offerings and the kindest people. I was short a couple dollars, didn't have my purse, so asked for 12oz instead of 16 oz juice...but I was surprised to be told I'd get the 16oz for 12 oz price. I will definitely be back to try more from the delicious menu!

Got the strawberry shortcake smoothie with scoop of vanilla whey protein. Was good! A little pricier than I was expecting ($12.11). I think I got the 16oz and not the 20oz. It was very good though! Nice and spacious area with lots of nice options. There’s a small bar with 3 chairs and then another spot to sit on couch chairs. There’s WiFi and outlets.

Update 5/14/25: Updating with 3 new items I tried today: açaí bowl w/ protein powder, liver flush shot, and The Refresher juice. All of them were super tasty! :) ————— I forgot to take a picture of the smoothie because it was so good that I drank it so fast LOL. Very good place for a healthy fix. I forgot which smoothie I got but all of them sounded good on the menu. The chicken salad was also really good, and I felt good/healthy after eating it. It took a hot minute for my order to be ready. I would say like 10-ish minutes. But, they were making the salad & the smoothie from scratch so I was ok with waiting. I felt comfortable knowing I was eating something healthy & not pre-made. Would come again when I’m in the area!
