The Nile of Hyde Park — straightforward middle eastern in Hyde Park. Classic neighborhood feel, nothing here chasing trends. This is cooking with real conviction. Fast service. "The shawarma was juicy and flavorful, wrapped up with fresh veggies and tahini" — Alice Mendoza [$$]

🌱Vegan & vegetarian friendly — real options, not one sad pasta.

My family has been obsessed with baba ganouj for as long as I can remember, but this was actually the best baba ganouj I have ever had. We had a great time, and I totally recommend this place.

The Nile of Hyde Park is a wonderful place for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Palestinian and Jordanian cuisine. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. The menu offers a great variety of traditional dishes, and everything looks fresh, flavorful, and delicious. One of the things I appreciate most is that they feature a different traditional daily special, giving customers a chance to enjoy authentic home-style meals throughout the week. The Mansaf is an absolute must-try, flavorful, and prepared the traditional way. The restaurant is very family-friendly, with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Another big advantage is the plenty of free parking available, making it convenient and stress-free to visit. If you're looking for authentic Middle Eastern food, generous portions, and warm hospitality, The Nile of Hyde Park is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Had a great lunch here, the lamb chops were amazing. No busy so service was very fast and attentive. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for this kind of cuisine. They cater to gluten allergies

Amazing food and great service make this spot a true gem. It wasn’t crowded, which made for a comfortable dining experience, and I even found street parking just half a block away. The food is authentic, flavorful, and served in large portions at very reasonable prices. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, and it’s clear they put care into their dishes. The staff were helpful in explaining the menu and guiding us on what to order, which made the whole process smooth. Service was quick, efficient, and no-frills, but always friendly. Generous portions and consistently delicious meals make this my favorite restaurant in Hyde Park.

Falafel was so good that I want to go again. Also their orange fresh juice was. I also loved the falafel sandwich but too heavy for one person. Their hummus with tahini on top was yummy. Service was quick and fast. Would love to go again n again

Spent about $25 on the chicken shawarma platter and a side of lentil soup. The shawarma was flavorful, but the meat was a bit dry. Lentil soup was hearty and comforting. Portions were generous, and the staff was friendly. The place has a no-frills vibe, which is fine, but the ambiance could use a refresh. Overall, a decent spot for a quick Middle Eastern bite in Hyde Park.

Had the messa appetizer it was ok. Pickles and olives were great. Falafel was good. The great belief really had no flavor period Had the sharma combination lamb, chicken and beef meat was overcooked. Rice had minimal flavor.

Best restaurant in Hyde Park and one of the better Middle Eastern establishments in region. Stand out authentic dishes include chicken shawerma, shish kebab, falafel, Jerusalem salad, tabouli salad and lentil soup. Tons of vegan options. Absolutely worth special trip to Hyde Park to enjoy.
