We ordered the chicken and lamb mandi with Zurbian rice, and my family loved it.
Amazing people and the food was just excellent… never ever had such an amazing mandi in my life… tried chicken and lamb mandi and was beyond expectation… Staff is very nice and friendly….

We decided to try this place after reading some good reviews, but it was pretty disappointing overall.
The waiter's behavior was very rude.
Most of the disgusting service i ever received from the al safa the rice is oily and there is no meat only fat and bone and this is not first time this is third time so please maintain quality and quantity and please when your serving the kabsa please give the sauces with the kabsa don’t let us to wait for 10-15 minutes this is my review.

Food was delightful. Lentil soup (not pictured), chicken kebab plate w hummus, rice and salad, beef shawarma sandwich. I believe this is a Yemeni spot and we really loved the spice blends that were unique compared to comparable dishes at other restaurants. Then again I haven’t met middle eastern food I don’t like. As others have mentioned service can be slow as they cook fresh and it was a one man operation when we visited. I would go out of my way to return and really want to try the lamb mandi!!

First time I’ve ever had a chicken schwarma and it was delicious! Also had a non alcoholic pomegranate malt and it was also delicious. We were greeted and immediately seated upon arrival. The server checked on us several times. He was very kind and accommodating. Great prices! Must try.

We came to get some food. Honestly at first I was like why did I drive 40 mins to Chicago for food but when I ate this food it was amazing 😻 it was worth the drive and we loved it 😊. Very nice people as well

Overall, the taste of the food truly deserves a 5-star rating. Highly recommended! Moreover, Service by Mohammed Kaif was excellent

Portion was perfect to share! The Zurbian was super tasty and filling! Rice was super flavorful and perfect texture. Lamb and chicken were tender and melting in my mouth. Lamb broth and cucumber salad complimented the meal very well! Not to mention the quick and super friendly service!

The ZURBIAN lamb was incredible; I would suggest it to everyone! One plate would serve me three or four meals if I were eating alone, so the portion size was also very substantial! The rice was incredibly flavorful, and the lamb melted in our mouths. Even on a Friday night, the place was packed, but the service was still prompt.
