I'm reviewing two separate experiences that were equally fantastic!! The service is outstanding and the food is delicious! I came here at the end of March because I kept meaning to and they were running a restaurant month deal. I ended up trekking to the restaurant in a torrential downpour on a weekday afternoon, so the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. My server Rae was lovely and very professional. I started off with a mango spritz cocktail, which was strong and delicious. I had the cheese curds appetizer and they came with marinara sauce that was equally great. For my entree I had the bacon and Brie burger and I discovered a whole new level of happiness in this world that I had not yet been privy to. The bun was just slightly crispy on the outside without being crumbly. The burger was juicy. The bacon was right on the edge of smooth and crispy so each bite had both sensations. And the Brie cheese flowed over the burger and rounded it out with each bite. It was absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS. I got a side salad with it and it was a hearty salad with sliced bell peppers, tomatoes, and several kinds of lettuce. Lastly, I had the chocolate cake for dessert, which came with chocolate drizzle and whipped cream. The meal was absolutely fantastic as was the service. It was definitely worth coming out in the heavy rain. I returned to my regular life, but as the days passed I could feel that something was missing. I craved the Bacon Brie burger again. I missed it. I knew I needed to order it again. So a week or two later, I returned to Stacked and Folded. My server Anahi was also lovely and very professional. This time, I just ordered the Bacon Brie Burger with a side of fries so I could focus on the deliciousness. Just as before, it was amazing. One of the best burgers I have ever had. Putting Brie cheese on a burger is GENIUS. And the fries were fantastic; clearly cooked in high-quality oil, they were crispy on the outside and full on the inside. This restaurant is fantastic. All of the staff I have encountered have been extremely professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. Every dish I have had is amazing. The ambience is casual but also fancy enough to feel like a nice time. The presentation of the dishes is wonderful. I love this place!

Fish tacos great, margarita perfect. A date/3 girls could totally split this entree and feel full. Exactly what you would expect from a cozy local spot. Super clean, pretty outdoor seating with fireplaces. Pleased with my pick in checking it out!

This is a hidden gem of a brunch place. There are so many good options for food, including vegetarian dishes. The alcohol options are also great. This would be a great place to come with a group of friends to day drink and/or watch a game. The staff is also super friendly!

Wow! 🤩 Head on over to this spot for some yummy grub! From the cheerful service to the flavorful food, yummy!!! Appreciated that the place itself has booths, free standing tables, and high tops. It’s quaint. The bathrooms are pristinely kept. The service was excellent & we were a bit needy-ish today. lol 😂 Great spot! We have enjoyed this two times now & had consistently excellent service & food! Plenty of free parking along side of the building, under the Metra tracks.

A festive restaurant with both outdoor and indoor tables. Menu offers salads, burgers, drinks app,..etc. We had the sliders, shrimp, ahi tuna and another other salads. All delicious with great flavors. Appropriate portions. The server we had was ok given not many customers. I would have given 5 stars if he was more attentive. Overall, we'll come back for the burgers.

Stacked is a great restaurant serving amazing food. I had four items on the menu and all were exceptional. The flavour profile of each dish was immense, with the salmon being my favourite. Even on a busy game night the service was great and the food served quickly. Definitely recommend.

Stacked and Folded is an absolutely fantastic spot to grab a quick, delicious, and unique meal. The fusion of flavors in their sandwiches and tacos is incredibly creative and always hits the spot. I recently picked up some takeout from here right before heading out to play poker with my regular group, and it was the absolute perfect fuel for a long evening. The ingredients taste exceptionally fresh, the portions are great, and the staff is always friendly and remarkably quick to get the order ready. The vibe inside is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place to dine in as well. I highly recommend trying their signature folded tacos if you are anywhere near the area!

My partner and I recently revisited this casual dining room and had another pleasant experience. Even though the outdoor tables and indoor room were busy and crowded, we were seated right away and our server was prompt and attentive. More often than not, google reviews are simply written as guides to good food and good values, "bang for your buck." This time I'd like to focus on our experience at Stacked and Folded because it was wonderful. We were in a bit of a hurry because we were going to St. Marks Episcopal Church nearby for a woodwinds concert at 7p. When we ordered our food, we told our server about our time constraint, and she said she would do her best to expedite our order. While waiting for our dinner, we were struck by the calm and QUIET atmosphere. That's when we realized there was no music being piped in. Even all of the large TV monitors had their sound muted. It was such a pleasure to be sitting in a large dining room where 20 other diners were eating and drinking. We could hear ourselves talk. We could hear others talking. It was delightful! Our food was freshly made and delicious: Bacon and brie burger with sweet potato fries The Cuban with sweet potato fries. The food was completely satisfactory, especially the thick-cut fries. We could really enjoy the sweet potato "meat" inside of the crispy exterior. Some places slice the potatoes so thin you can't enjoy the sweet potato inside the fried shell. To sum up, go here to enjoy freshly made foods and conversations you might have in your own--or a friend's--kitchen. We got to St. Marks with minutes to spare. P.S., The napkins were large and thick!
