A wonderful spot to celebrate a special occasion! We went here for a birthday and were treated with care and kindness. Our server, Shi, was super friendly and accommodating to all our needs. The vibe and ambience of this restaurant were really warm and inviting. There was relaxing live guitar music and dim lighting with beautiful decorations. Of course, the food was delicious as well. We tried the coconut-curry braised chicken and the sautéed tiger prawn and thin rice noodles. Both dishes had the perfect flavor and presentation, complementing each other well. We finished our meal with a delicious chocolate mousse on the house. The food was a bit pricey, but the portion sizes are adequate and left us completely satisfied. If you’re seeking out a chic restaurant for a special night or just a hearty meal, try NaKorn!

I have been here about 4 times in total including today. Incredible food, friendly service from a variety of their servers, and a relaxed atmosphere to match. Between all of my visits some of my favorite dishes have been the shrimp tapioca crackers, the fried branzino, and have had a variety of items on their specials that change out every now again (Croissant sticky rice ice cream dessert, Hat Yai Fried chicken, etc.). The Bangkok mule is also a solid cocktail!

“Amazing food, service, and ambiance.”

Amazing food, service, and ambiance. Lively but not too loud to have a conversation. Very accommodating. Food was spectacular. Only "negative" is it was pricey, but not more so than most similar (and some not as good) restaurants. Worth it for us, will be back!

We were super impressed by NaKorn tonight. Delicious flavors, interesting cocktails, beautiful presentation, stellar service, and even live guitar music! Our server was able to answer all of our questions about the unusual ingredients on the menu including Yu-Choi (like Bok Choy) and a cocktail ingredient that is a liquor that is frequently taken as shots in China. One of the owners (I think) also came to talk to us and shared that the broth my husband ate every single drop of was their mother's recipe ❤️ We are so lucky to have such a top notch, fine dining, yet approachable restaurant in Evanston. They even had some same-day reservations available, yet another reason I love this place! Also there are vegetarian and vegan options (even a vegan cake on the dessert menu!) and even a small kids menu!

Had an amazing experience at Nakorn Urban Thai while celebrating my birthday! The staff and our servers were incredibly nice and made the evening feel special. The food was absolutely delicious—authentic Thai flavors with fresh ingredients. They also have great vegan options, which is a big plus. On top of that, the restaurant itself looks beautiful, with a stylish and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful dining experience in Evanston!

“NaKorn is absolutely phenomenal.”

NaKorn is absolutely phenomenal! Probably some of the best food I’ve had in the Chicago area. I had the Blue Crab Meat dish and my friend had a fish dish. Both were amazing, but the fish dish my friend had was extraordinary. Cocktails and mocktails were great and so was the pomelo salad. Will be back again.

“Now, this is absolutely delicious Thai food.”

Now, this is absolutely delicious Thai food. The flavors were PHENOMENAL. Not a single thing I ate was overpowering. The creativity and presentation was carefully thought out. All of the ambiance and service was super classy and I really enjoyed the live guitar music. All of the front of the house was super knowledgeable of the menu and the specials. Kudos to all of the employees there. It was perfect. A wow experience. If you are a foodie, please try this place out. It's worth EVERY penny. Just fantastic.
