Very bright interior and attentive, friendly service. We had the enchiladas in red sauce lunch special and a taco salad, both were good, but the chicken in the enchiladas with the sauce was fantastic. The chips they gave at the start was warm, light, and crunchy. We also had a delicious Mango Loco margarita.

This is my third time dining here, and it never disappoints! I love trying a different dish each visit, and everything has been absolutely delicious. The red sangria is amazing, and I’ve enjoyed the chimichanga, steak fajitas, enchiladas, and guacamole—all fantastic! On top of the great food, the restaurant itself is beautiful. Highly recommend. Mario was server each time and he is part of the great experience.

Hands down, the best aioli I’ve ever had in my life. We ate in the afternoon with family. Primos Locos os am incredible place to have a drink and enjoy the vibe. The chicken tacos were made just right with a corn tortilla that had a hint of lime. The kids menu has a few choices that will satisfy the kids. Quesadillas had a perfect amount of cheese for the kids. You cannot choose a better location right by the train station in downtown Elmhurst. Free Street parking is available.

“The restaurant was beautiful, and the food was delicious.”

The restaurant was beautiful, and the food was delicious. Our group was two adults, one older child, and two younger children. They knew my older son wanted an adult menu, but with the way the little kid's food looked, we could've ALL eaten off of the kid's menu. One of our kiddos got the chicken & waffles, and it looked amazing and tasted better. We also had ceviche, the enchiladas with salsa verde, kids octopus hot dogs (cut in a cute shape), tacos de carne asada, and the cactus salad. Everything was delicious. The prices were good, the service was good. My ONLY complaint is that we were a little cold, which I think was coming from a drafty window. Other than that, it was wonderful!

I’m so glad I gave this place a try!! Service was outstanding, and the food was on point 👌🏼. Drinks were awesome and all of our dishes were delicious, I’m obsessed with their Mole sauce and the green salsa. Can’t wait to go back 😁

“The best Mexican food in town.”

The best Mexican food in town. We ordered the veggie taco, Camarones and mango loco. Food was delicious, the grilled shrimp was perfectly cooked and marinated. The margarita wasn’t strong, but loved the mango purée. However, the service was really slow this was the case with every table I think due to lack of staff. Server was friendly. There is a public parking lot next to this restaurant.

Primos Locos is a nicer, upscale Mexican restaurant. I've never been disappointed with any food or drinks. The carnitas tacos are succulent and whatever sauce is on them is amazing with the pink onions. Pork tamales are my 2nd choice and the red sauce is flavorful and not too spicy. All cocktails are on point. Even if you don't like tequila, you'll find something you like here. My go-to is the cantarito 🤌. There are a few Mexican beers on tap that you don't commonly see so try those out too.

“Just wanted a quick meal around lunch time.”

Just wanted a quick meal around lunch time. The restaurant has cool art work alla Dia de Los Muertos celebration. Chips and salsa were a great starter. I had chile rellenos. My wife had fish tacos. We also brought home pork tamales. Quick service and very tasty. Water glass was always full. Thank you for such great service. $8.99 lunch special Tuesday to Friday.

my family and i have come here a handful of times and have never left disappointed. drinks are always good (minus two times ago where i pitcher didn't really taste like it had much tequila), food is always great, and the customer service makes this place. specifically, eddie, he has not once let us down. even when he's not our server, he'll come over to say hi and talk with us. he's given us the best customer service we have ever experienced. being in the service industry myself, that's something i really appreciate. this place is great in every aspect and i recommend it to everyone!
