Great local Italian restaurant in Elmhurst on Spring rd. From the time our host seated us to the time we left the hospitality was great. We dine outside very often & I must say the customer service at Roberto’s was above & beyond… We have dietary restrictions & the manager was kind enough to make good suggestions & made sure the chef swapped certain sauces with another based on our request. The Days special (Ravioli) was a great option for us to get started while we were waiting on our steaks.. The prime fillet and the New York ribeye were just perfect with delicious sides. The overall restaurant setting was great however a bit too loud for us on a Friday night… Overall delicious food, great customer service if You ever wanna try some great Italian in Elmhurst… Grazie Mille…

“I love their pizza.”

I love their pizza. To me it’s one of the best New York style pizzas in all of Chicago! And if the owner can please read my thoughts I would appreciate it. I’m originally a native New Yorker and always crazier style Pizza and New Jersey everywhere and I will never buy that Pizza in any other state because it’s no good. But Roberto’s comes super close. The dough is perfect and chewy just like New York style… to see the deal, I would love for there to be more cheese throughout the pie because about one and a half inches before the crust all around there is no cheese and there is very little sauce. There are many nice pizza toppings and you can enjoy choosing one w toppings already planned on it vs your own. It’s in the basement and both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has beautiful water views. It’s very hard to get this New York. NEw Jersey chewy dough so enjoy it. Plus it’s so nice that the AMC theater is only 2 blocks away. And it’s our favorite one where it shows all US and international films. Great location.

Update Oct 16, 2025 Today we visited our favorite local Italian restaurant. Robertos. As always the service was espectacular. Roberto. Joe our waiter kept bringing delicious plate after delicious plate. He provided outstanding customer service. Lasagna, Lobster ravioli, home made sausage, escargot, the wine and finally tiramisu. It was all an explosion of flavors like grandma used to make. Great job to the entire Robertos team for making our night a very special one. Thee nicest spot I’ve been to in a very long time! Brings back what it means to have authentic, homemade cuisine with excellent service with gorgeous ambiance. The chain restaurants can’t hold a candle to this place!!!! Worth every penny!! You’ll leave full & planning for your next visit! Here are some of the entree’s & deserts we ordered. Exquisite! The hand crafted drinks were absolutely delish & they also have a wonderful selection of wines both by the glass or bottle. Can’t wait to go back! 🤌🏼🍷We returned recently, so I’ve added more pics of the deliciousness! That bottle of red I shared here was a delightful pairing too!

“Food and service were outstanding.”

Food and service were outstanding! We wanted to sit outside since the weather was absolutely perfect, but there was nothing available, so they put us in the dining area. We had the fried calamari and baked clams for appetizers, breaded pork chop, the Halibut w/ Jalapeño sauce and the mixed grilled fish platter...all of it was absolutely delicious and Josephine our server was the best...top notch!

This charming family owned restaurant, offers a cozy, setting and true Italian hospitality. The family comes from Sicily and have brought with them many of the recipes and their love for hospitality and food. The restaurant also has two party rooms available for larger events. Today I celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary with my family. Could not have picked a better place for atmosphere food and service.

This is a very popular place! Make sure you make reservations! Started out with bruschetta with fresh mozzarella. So delicious! I had chicken marsala, my husband pizza, and another had chicken piccatta. They serve 2 nice pieces of chicken breast with mini potatoes. The mushroom sauce had a very good flavor. I ordered a side of grilled vegetables-zuccini, squash, red and yellow peppers. I really liked that! I tried the piccatta and also delicious! My husband rated the pizza very high. He likes it crispy, and the ingredients were fresh. This is quality food and a high-end restaurant. The only thing I didn't like was the chaotic atmosphere. I didn't feel relaxed. Between every table being taken, a baby screaming, it was tough to relax. It's a tight fit in there. Parking in the rear, be ready to walk around the whole building, or walk through a grassy hilly area. Parking in front, on the street, or a parking lot across the street may be a better option. Would be nice to enter from the back, but they don't have that setup. Solid food and an overall nice place.

Outstanding! I don't give 5 stars very often, but this place deserves the rank. Let me start with the antepasto della casa appetizer, a beautiful plate of assorted salami's, cheeses and olives! Perfect beginnings! The hot homemade bread was outstanding! They have an extensive wine list plus a full bar. They offer both inside and outside seating, a wonderful area to sit back, relax and enjoy the weather! I love Italian food and eat lasagna at each place. I have to say, this was probably the best lasagna I've ever had! The pasta was cooked to perfection. The sauce was fabulous! The perfect combination of tomato, garlic, salt, and basil. The sauce was meat based with the perfect amount of ricotta and cheese. The portion was large and the prices were reasonable! I will add this to my list of best places to eat!

“Their Pizza has CHANGED MY LIFE.”

Their Pizza has CHANGED MY LIFE! Wow! I ordered the deep dish meat lovers pizza with bacon, sausage, pepperoni, Italian sausage & mushrooms. I will be coming back to this place whenever I’m on business in Chicagoland. Great service & great food. Go get you some Roberto’s!
