NRebozo (MP-10278) — high-caliber mexican in Forest Park. The atmosphere does most of the heavy lifting. Worth ordering a drink, because the bar holds its own.

“Went here for our date night.”
Went here for our date night. Best restaurant experience ever. We were served by Chef Paco who explained everything and gave his personal recommendations which were excellent. Would recommend people to try this restaurant at least once because you will definitely be back after the first visit.

We had great food and an incredible time with friends and especially chef Paco. His presentation is fun. The vibe is authentic and you will just have to try the food for yourself to understand. I highly recommend the flight of Mole sauce enchiladas and an authentic Mexican Coca-Cola and Chef Paco's. Specialty coffee drink he suggested for me at the end of dinner will live in my brain forever. 5 stars!

OH MY GOD! A gem. Incredible food. Very authentic but also creative. Reminds me of the dishes I have when I go to Oaxaca. Chef Paco is an incredibly friendly person and talented chef. Great service A+++. Forest Park is so lucky to have this spot! This is where I go when I want to cheer myself up, when I want to celebrate, when I just want to feel happy and good!

“I always enjoy coming here.”
I always enjoy coming here. Paco makes our dining experience even better. As I waited for my friend, who was 30 minutes late, I enjoyed a wonderful cocktail - Corn Charco - crunchy chips & salsa, and chafing with Paco My friend is vegetarian so, for the pleasure of sharing dishes, I choose to forseak meats for the night. We shared the 6-enchiladas plate with 6 different types of mole including their original Pobleno and Pipian, and Chile Nogada (one of my favorite). They use, for the Chile and one of the enchiladas, Flor de Jamaica - Hibiscus Flowers. The texture was tender and chewy like pulled, the look was like stewed meat, and the flavor was a subtle sour and slightly bitter picking up the spices. It was delicious I had a second cocktail, Disaronno Agave Old Fashioned, excellent pairing well with our vegetarian meal For dessert, we shared flan, a coffee-flavored flan, not that sweet and the texture was more like cheesecake than flan. Very good. The space is small, and it gets a little loud, so I like to go early, and the food and drinks are worth my one-hour drive from the west burbs. It's a favorite restaurant for my son and me. “Nrebozo is the next incarnation of New Rebozo, a concept by the stellar personality and chef Paco...”
Nrebozo is the next incarnation of New Rebozo, a concept by the stellar personality and chef Paco originally in nearby Oak Park, now settled in downtown Forest Park. Given the new ambiance and location, does the restaurant maintain the excellence of its prior location? Without question, this is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Chicago. Paco is an expert of his craft and absolutely gushes with charm. The new location sports the same level of care and precision in its food and drinks. I’ve ordered moles from here several times, each one complex but also distinct. Variations using chocolate, dried peppers, peanut, and even pistachio really highlight his creativity and are dumbfoundingly impressive. It’s truly incredible how diverse, interesting, and palatable the food is here. Pair the food with any number of his perfectly balanced margaritas for an excellent dining experience that is vastly underutilized. Getting seats during a weekday has been effortless and is, frankly, shocking. I will certainly be back. Summarizing my dining experience, what better way to express my satisfaction than to quote Paco by using his own catch phrase: "Oh my God!"

Wauuuu! Chef Paco and his team deserve a Michelin Star for the magic they’re making here. EVERYTHING is wonderful! The food is delicious, drinks are divine, service is flawless, and the decor makes for perfect ambience. Chef Paco even took the time to host each table as if we were in his home. It is without a doubt the best place I’ve ate in the Midwest.

We were in the neighborhood looking for a Mexican restaurant, and found a new favorite place! The atmosphere was cozy, and the food was amazing! Chef Paco comes out to your table to describe the food, and he has a great personality! We tried the plantain cakes, Tacos al pastor and enchiladas. Everything was really good!

“I am absolutely blown away.”
I am absolutely blown away! This restaurant is truly exceptional. Undoubtedly, they serve the finest drinks in the city. Reena, the bartender, is an absolute gem! Her drinks are crafted with such care and passion, perfectly complementing the ambiance of the restaurant. I indulged in the chocolate mole dish, and it was a culinary delight! The harmonious blend of flavors creates a delightful party for the taste buds, in the most satisfying way. N Rebozo provides a cozy and inviting atmosphere, ideal for unwinding and relaxation. I highly recommend adding this gem to your list of date night spots.

“What a fantastic little place.”
What a fantastic little place. Excellent food and drinks. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Due to how they do it, Chef comes to each table to tell you about the specials, it is not somewhere you want to go if you're in a hurry. But if you want an evening where you can chat with your friends while eating amazing food, this is your place.

This place is one of those rare gems where you can take a chance and order anything on the menu and it is guaranteed to be good. Chef Paco always welcomes you like family. My wife had been craving a Chile en Nogada for a while so we went. As was to be expected it was very good. For appetizers we went with Chef Paco's recommendations and ordered the stuffed jalapeño pepper and the vegetarian Jamaica sope. I couldn't resist ordering his famous mole enchiladas ❤️. We ordered some drinks. My wife had a Tamarind Margarita and I had a Tamarind Michelada. Truly one of the best Micheladas I've ever had. After dinner my wife ordered a Carajillo because she had also never tried one before and she enjoyed it. We did not have a dessert because we were simply stuffed but I was curious about the Chocolate Jalapeño ice cream so I ordered it to go. Needless to say, it was also very delicious 😋. I can't recommend NRebozo enough. Try it for yourself.
