Stumbled upon this place when another local Mex rest was closed for the evening. What a find!!! If you have ever been to Big Star, this spot is better with real Mexican flair. The Menu is diverse with home made dishes. Roasted Pork is incredible. Street corn and Tacos are homeruns. Beautiful decor and awesome patio. Help staff top notch. Hidden gem in Forest Park

I had the molcajeteada and an horchata to drink. Everything was delicious from the chips and salsa to my main meal. The waitres was super friendly and since we went at lunch, it wasn't really crowded. Definitely 10/10 would go again!

Highly recommend for lunch. Tacos and margaritas are great and reasonable prices. Nice place, relaxing outdoors seating, good tacos compared to another restaurant around here. Very tasty margaritas. Tasteless ceviche I ever have. Good discounts on weekdays.

This was my first time eating there. The food was great and our waitress, Celeste, was very friendly and welcoming. I had the Camarones a la diabla, and it was delicious and spicy, just the way I like it. Definitely will be back!

This was my first time going into Mexican Republic and all I have to say is that me and my family were all taken care of since the moment we went inside. Their staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of their menu and were open to providing suggestions of foods and pairings. We were all very happy with our dishes. I personally got the corn tamale appetizers, enchiladas de camaron, and to drink I had the coconut horchata These were all so splendid and tasteful! The attention to detail was very evident and I loved it! My food was very neat and the environment was very vibrant and really portrayed the Mexican culture. I will definitely recommend and will be going back soon!

This is one of our favorite taco Tuesday spots in the neighborhood. They have great margaritas and the salsa is awesome. We frequent this place often. The only drawback is they they are not open on Monday’s. Otherwise. Enjoy! This place gets busy on the weekends.
