Mary's Taqueria
Mary's Taqueria — honest mexican in Chinatown, where the Tacos is worth ordering. It has that lived-in, been-here-forever warmth. The kind of cooking that doesn't need to explain itself. Owner on site. Luis Rivera: "The tacos were excellent, meat was well cut, seasoned, and grilled to perfection" [$]

“Been going here for really long time, amazing tacos and horchatas. I recently started bringing my kids here and they love it too.”

“Nice little corner restaurant. Great food. Flavor nice and tacos filled nicely. Returned abs tried the tostado. Also great!!!”

“Cool little spot in Chinatown for Mexican food. Would recommend you bring cash as they charge a surcharge for card. Steak taco was flavorful, shrimp was nice a juicy and the pescado was alright. Would definitely recommend the shrimp!”

“Came here twice and food was great the first time. The most recent visit, i ordered tacos and fries. The food was overly salted. The chips and salsa has me in a chokehold though so I'd come back again. Service can be a bit slow, but not too bad. Theres a charge for using your credit card.”
“Great quality and authentic mexican food. This place is a gem. Price is on the higher side, but can justify it for the quality. My only issue is that they make up their own hours. They open whenever and sometimes stay closed all day. I see cars pull up all the time only to find the store not following any set business hours.”
“The Food The food was genuinely good. Everything tasted fresh, and the flavors were exactly what you want from a neighborhood taco spot. The tortillas held up well, and the fillings were seasoned perfectly—not too salty, just right. The Service The service was efficient and friendly. I didn’t have to wait long for my order, and the staff seemed happy to have me there. It’s the kind of place where you feel taken care of without a lot of unnecessary hovering. Bottom Line: > A reliable spot for a great meal. Between the quality of the tacos and the smooth service, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. I’ll be back!”
“Small corner store restaurant with huge flavor!! Great lunch spot as I work nearby!!”
“I've been a full time driver for 13 years now and I've eaten all OVER the city. And let me tell you that these tacos are some of the best in the city, just for the simple fact that they use yellow corn tortillas with a little bit of cooking grease. If you're saying (ew, grease) that gives the tacos TONS more flavor. That's how tacos in Mexico City are served. It's a little grocery shop/restaurant but everytime I'm in that area, I stop to eat there. I've only tried their tortas, tacos and breakfast and they've been delicious. Come visit this place for authentic Mexican food. Props for the little water container next to the cashier where we can grab a big cup of water with our meal.”
