Pekes Pozole is hands down one of the best places to enjoy authentic Mexican pozole. The broth is rich and flavorful, with just the right balance of spices, and the meat is tender and cooked perfectly. Every bite feels comforting and satisfying. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are genuinely kind and attentive, which makes the whole experience enjoyable. Portions here are generous — one bowl is enough to fill you up. Parking can be a bit limited, so it’s good to arrive a little early to find a spot. If you’ve never tried pozole before, this place is a great introduction. It’s definitely worth the visit, whether you’re new to pozole or a longtime fan.

Very tasty pozole with generous portion of cabbage, radishes, avocado, tostadas and more. Very clean place top to bottom and attentive service as well. Got the pozole flight and was a great value in addition to very fresh and a generous portion.

I’ve always seen this location but never came due to my long travel distance but man this food is amazing. I came Sunday morning 9:30am and no wait time. I ordered the flight pozole and my wife ordered the menudo and for both us we got the picadillos. Every single dish has amazing flavor !!! This is A MUST if you are around the area or are traveling to Chicago !!! 10/10

This pozole is my favorite in all of Chicago! Any time I am getting together with my family and want to cater food this spot is my go to. The pozole is always fresh and packed with favor and you will get plenty of meat! You also get all of the fixings to top off your pozole and some tostadas. I have also dined in and had their chilaquiles which are also amazing!!! These are the chilaquiles that stay crunchy when you get them which I absolutely love.

Simplemente delicioso 😋 Tenía tantas ganas de un buen pozole y aquí lo vine a encontrar 🙌🏼 We started with a fresh Maracuya margarita and some taquitos 🌮 Omg then the pozole came 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 sooooo flavorful. If you’re craving pozole, let me tell you that this is THE PLACE, the flavor is so delicious on green and red pozole. We also order drinks and they were so good. The service was on point and always asking if we needed anything and making sure we were doing ok, I liked that the servers were always very active with customers and keep the place organized. Thank you guys for the pozole, definitely will come back and Definitely i highly recommend pekes pozole💙🇲🇽

The service was exceptional. Upon arrival at 9:00 AM on Sunday, the wait was minimal. I strongly recommend the pozole flight, enabling a comparison of various pozole styles. Personally, I preferred the red pozole; the green pozole was spicier, and the white pozole, while flavorful, lacked depth. I highly recommend both dine-in and takeout options. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to Dulce Dental, located nearby. Also highly recommend the menudo as it's spicy and flavorful aswell.

“Great experience.”

Great experience. The pozole was really good. The red was rich and flavorful without being overpowered by the Chipotle. The green was my favorite with the subtle charred notes from the chile coming through. The pastor tacos were up there with some of the best I've had, easily makes the top 10 list. I guess the one bad thing was the flautas were way more tortilla than filling but the green sauce it was served with was really good. Overall a thumbs up.

We drove 45min and waited for a table for another 45min and I have to say it was worth the wait. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was amazing and the drinks were delicious. My husband is a very picky eater and he was impressed. They need to add a locational in Naperville!! We will definitely be returning!!!
