The food was beautiful and flavorful. The drinks were gorgeous and strong. The staff was incredible but it was also 86° inside when we left at 7pm. Sweating aside, I would absolutely go back to this restaurant!

Great food and drinks! Very nice and friendly staff. We come at least once a week. Good Tequilas never disappoints. 😋 The Mexican Mai Thai is my favorite drink anywhere.

“I hate that I was one of those people that showed up 20 minutes before closing on the eve of the super bowl.”

I hate that I was one of those people that showed up 20 minutes before closing on the eve of the super bowl. But I was hungry and intent on having Mexican food. The staff was very accommodating and even gave us a complimentary guacamole because there was extra. Food is simply great! The portion sizes were very generous and the price was really a good deal. We left a good tip to make up for the fact that we were there a little past 9:00 p.m.

“Hadn’t been here in quite a while but so glad I went back.”

Hadn’t been here in quite a while but so glad I went back. Jamie our server was exceptional- she recommended several dishes when asked and we ordered two of her top three recs and were not disappointed. The food was fresh and delicious. Ordered a pitcher of margaritas thinking we’d save money if we drank two each and there was plenty for 4-5 or to share! Tasty too. The salsa was great - had a kick but not overpowering. We were seated right away on a Saturday night without reservations even with the place being mostly full. Got water, chips and salsa right away. When so many restaurants are short handed it was refreshing to be greeted and served right away. Will definitely return!

“This place is soooo good!!”

This place is soooo good!!! Strawberry margarita is delicious! My favorite of the veggie platter was the cheese Chile relleno! Definitely will come again!

“Great Mexican food.”

Great Mexican food. Sometimes food can be a bit dry BUT the margaritas totally compensate for that. Atmosphere is very traditional. They have an outdoor patio. Overall very good family place for Mexican food.

8/2023 5* We had a great time here. Our server Brandon was fabulous. Very attentive, but not bothersome. The atmosphere is nice. Fun and inviting. Festive looking. The food was tremendous! We enjoyed every single thing we ate. The chips and salsa were great! The Tilapia was flaky and not dry. The Chimichanga's were crisp and yummy! And the Queso Charro was LOADED with lots of Chorizo! We will for sure be back!

Wish I could give 10 stars. Visiting the Chicago area and stopped in and experienced the best burrito ever and the strawberry margarita was so good! The decor is festive and bright. Loved this!

Ceviche, shrimp cocktail, steak tacos, and a sampler that had a lot of food in it. Very good flavor all around. Tacos were excellent. Ceviche and shrimp cocktail were good. Fresh (frozen) shrimp. Good quality food.

I absolutely give Good Tequila's Restaurant five stars. All the food was brought to our table correctly and piping hot. We had a party of six people, our selections included tacos, salad, enchiladas suizas, burritos and drinks. They have an extensive selection of high-quality tequila, and their Margaritas were excellent. The decoration on the tables and chairs set the Ambiance in this restaurant (really awesome). Overall, a great experience.
