“Atmosphere like home, food done just right, veg choices, nice ambience and good pasta choices... Friendly staff and valet parking for an extra fee. The CTA blue line grand Station is right here as well as the bus. Very convenient. The dessert called Panna Cotta de Limone was very silky and a few tiny pieces of candied orange peel on top to offset the smooth flan like fluffy sweet. It's very tasty and not too sweet.”

“I’ve been here many times, and it’s always consistently good, both the food and the service. The patio during summertime is also really nice.”

“Visited during Restaurant Week 2026 with work colleagues. Went in expecting to be overly critical, and comparing the food to meals in Rome… and came away pleasantly surprised. Aperol spritz availability, but not on menu. Rich and flavorful pasta, but with an Americanized twist (utilizing roast beef stew in my dish inlew of sausage). Appetizers and pizza was enjoyable, the buttered house bread was a crowd pleaser. Some of our party had minor complaints around the freshness of the pasta, but didn’t bleed into my appreciation. Additionally, a very affordable experience comparing base prices to Rome. Felt just like an ideal Italian family restaurant.”

“Food was tasty could've had a little more seasoning to the pasta but my only gripe The table area that we sent in had no umbrella, therefore the bulbs were blowing off the tree Right above our head's”

“We visited this restaurant during a quiet time, and it was the perfect choice. The place was spotless, cozy, and had such a pleasant atmosphere that we could truly relax without any distractions. The service was excellent—the staff was attentive and welcoming throughout our meal. As for the food, the ravioli I ordered were hands down the most delicious ravioli I’ve ever had in my life! We also tried the lasagna, which was equally tasty. We finished with dessert, and it didn't disappoint either—everything was flavorful and well-prepared. It’s definitely not the cheapest place, but it’s worth every penny. We’re already looking forward to coming back because the food and the overall experience were simply fantastic. Highly recommended!”

“This amazing Italian restaurant is a MUST! The service and food were top notch! I will definitely be going back! I highly recommend this Italian restaurant! Went there with my friend/family on a Monday afternoon. They have valet parking too. The food was GREAT! We had the Burrata (Hand-stuffed, Pugliese mozzarella, Italian mortadella, pistachios, aged balsamic marinated roasted grapes), Prosciutto Di Parma (Nineteen month aged Prosciutto di Parma with sliced melon), and Frittura (fried shrimp and calamari). I had the Lasagna Tipica Di Bologna, which is a traditional lasagna with a meat sauce with green pasta sheets, layered with bechamel. I also tried their mushroom risotto and the oxtail stew on a bed of grits! All were AMAZING! For desert I had a chocolate lava cake with a hazelnut sorbet…FANTASTIC!”

“Out of all the Italian restaurants in the Chicagoland area, we decided to chose piccolo sogno for our 5 year anniversary dinner. So happy that we did! Drove down and found parking right away. They also have valet. We were greeted very kindly at the door and were seated even though we were early for our reservation. Ambiance in the restaurant is very chic and nicely set up. Waiter came straight to the table as soon as we sat and introduced himself. We decided no drinks for the night and went straight to the specials. They sounded so good that we ordered 3 things of the specials menu. Started with the pizza with spicy salami and basil. It was so fresh and light. I could have ate another one! Dough was very airy and thin and the sauce was super flavorful. I ordered the lamb shank and my wife went with the truffle ravioli. The lamb shank was pipping hot and fell right off then bone. No need for a knife! Meat was so tender and juicy. So happy I went with that. My wife's ravioli was delicious! One of the best pasta dishes she's had out. Very fresh ravioli with ricotta and truffles. Taste was just amazing. The only downfall was that the bread was not fresh but the oil and balsamic vinegar at the table made up for it. Overall great experience. 100% recommend!”

“My second time at PS. The restaurant is so pretty, especially their outdoor patio. I felt like I was sitting in beautiful Italy. The staff is so friendly, and kind. Didn't wait long for our food. For food, we tried the Blanco pizza which was amazing, and so tasty. The fried shrimp, and calamari was really yummy, with a great dipping sauce. The vodka cream is not on the menu, but asked for it, and they made us one of the best. Look forward to coming back when in the area. Cirro the owner is also very sweet, and probably.”

“We can here for team lunch. We walked here. There was paid valet parking. Not sure about other parking. This place is big. They have outdoor sitting area. We ordered some appetizers and they were great. I ordered a chicken and it was good too. The only thing was I had to ask for drink refills. Overall it was good place.”
