Peanut Park Trattoria — a Near West Side italian mainstay. Polished but not pretentious. Good cocktails round out an already strong menu, and owner on site. "The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and the seasoning was perfectly balanced" — Kandis Horton

“The pastas are fantastic and the chicken parm is excellent”
So we were here for an event thru work so the menu options were limited. However, the one pepperoni pizza was good.
I recently visited Peanut Park Trattoria and ordered a cheese pizza, which unfortunately arrived burnt.
I was disappointed spending Valentine’s Day here.

“Stopped by a local favorite and realized I’ve never properly raved about Peanut Park.”
Stopped by a local favorite and realized I’ve never properly raved about Peanut Park. You honestly can’t go wrong with their pasta, but this time I was in for a quick bite and a drink with a friend. Do yourself a favor and order the seasonal burrata, the meatballs, and a pizza. Easy order, fast, and every bite was a 10/10. The staff is always great, but the owner Dave really takes the cake. Friendly, welcoming, and clearly cares about the food and the experience. Pictured here with some of the last bites! Thanks Dave and team, see y’all soon!

“Peanut Park is such a pretty spot.”
Peanut Park is such a pretty spot. All the food was delicious, and the whole aesthetic is just lovely. It feels special without being stuffy. We were there for a birthday dinner. I’d definitely recommend it for celebration dinners, dates, anniversaries, anything where you want a meal that feels a little elevated but still easy.

“Had a surprise suggestion from my wife to go check out Peanut Park Trattoria on a recent day off.”
Had a surprise suggestion from my wife to go check out Peanut Park Trattoria on a recent day off. Couldn't have been more fun chatting with the staff and enjoying delicious food and cocktails there while learning about the history of the area we all know and love, Little Italy. Great menu, wood fired pizza and some fun decor made this a great and relaxing couple of hours spent together after a busy week.

“Stopped in for lunch.”
Stopped in for lunch. My group had the peppers and sausage and barrata appetizer. Both were excellent. Large portions for 4-5 people. The pizza was delicious and the pistachio pesto pasta was soooo good. The entire staff was friendly and very attentive server.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel instantly at home. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor — you can tell the chef puts heart and soul into the menu. The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and the seasoning was perfectly balanced. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and our glasses were never empty. By the end of the meal, we were already planning our next visit. A true gem — highly recommended! Dave the owner is amazing.

“We had a fantastic experience at Peanut Park Trattoria in Little Italy.”
We had a fantastic experience at Peanut Park Trattoria in Little Italy. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming — everyone greeted us as we walked in, which made us feel right at home. The food was outstanding. The focaccia was flavorful and fresh, and the pappardelle pasta was truly unforgettable. The atmosphere is charming and stylish, with a cool deconstructed Vespa on the wall that adds a unique touch. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

“Always a.great meal at P-Squared.”
Always a.great meal at P-Squared. The pastas are fantastic and the chicken parm is excellent. If you get that parm be serious if you get the full size. It's enough for one NFL linemen or two to three normal sized humans. On the pasta, try them all to be honest. Up front, that bread with the whipped ricotta is a sleeper, do it, extra honey etc. Drinks are good. If you need parking they will help you. Just ask inside. Very nice owner and staff. Family place. Get grandma's desert it is 'da best! Grab a pizza while you are at it!

“We had THE BEST experience at Peanut Park.”
We had THE BEST experience at Peanut Park! We were in town for a volleyball tournament and had the task of finding a restaurant that would seat 25+ people. The owner, Dave, was phenomenal. He gave me his cell phone number and helped plan the entire event, free of charge. Luckily, Peanut Park has a rooftop that is quaint and intimate, providing us the best teambuilding experience. Dave went above and beyond and created a buffet style menu just for our reservation. On top of all of the amazing experiences we had, the food was probably some of the best Italian food I have had the pleasure of eating. We joke about driving back to Chicago just to eat at Peanut Park again. The only obstacle we were faced with was Chicago traffic and transporting multiple families to one location at the same time. Dave being a problem solver, gave us a contact to a friend who owns a shuttle service. It was so affordable and provided the best experience for the team, coaches, and families. I cannot think Dave enough for rolling out the red carpet to his neighbors in St. Louis.

I worked on a pop up art gallery near the DNC called INTOACTION 2024 and we came to Peanut Park Trattoria to get an enormous amount of food for catering for our crew. The entire staff is absolutely DELIGHTFUL! They are incredibly accommodating and make sure the utmost care and quality is put into the food. We met Dave one of the owners who was especially nice helping us out with cutlery, napkins, and a special deliver of extra yummy bread! In all my years of doing runs, these guys knew how to accommodate RIGHT. It was fantastic and just had to leave this review because THESE GUYS DESERVE IT. I may be from Los Angeles but boy THIS IS WHAT CHICAGO IS ABOUT. Thank you!
