“Another amazing sandwich as usual. Great neighborhood Italian deli. Highly recommend.”

“Wow the best Italian sandwiches in the city! We enjoyed: cold Italian, the meatball sub, and the Rosie. So many different varieties and we enjoyed every single bite of the fresh substances- fresh ingredients and the meatballs were amazing. In addition tk the food, the store has an impressive variety of italian staples and frozen homemade food to take home! We love coming back here, enjoy!”

“Stopped by and ordered the pastrami. The market itself was really nice and had a great selection of items. The food was decent overall, nothing amazing but solid. Only downside was the line it was disorganized with no real order, so it felt a little chaotic waiting to get served. Still, the store has nice offerings and is worth checking out if you’re in the area.”

“We had the Italian sandwich and it was a nice mix of meat and lettuce, tomato and onion and oil and vinegar and pickled peppers and mustard and mayo. The service was very quick and it’s a down to earth Italian, grocery and deli. It’s in the heart of Little Italy.”

“This used to be the best Italian sub, but now it seems like they're skimping out on the meats. Don't get me wrong they still taste good but for whatever reason my sandwich was super thin.”

“I ordered this with lettuce and cheese and as you can see there’s nothing in here. It’s not good at all. Very mediocre at best. I want a refund.”
“do yourself a favor and get the Rosie, grab some gnocchi for later, and don’t forget to get some sweets”
“Absolute best Italian deli/sandwich spot in Chicago by far. Everyone will tell you to go to Bari (og for sure and love the vibe but sandos are too expensive and subpar imo) or J.P. Grazianos ( the best cannolis in the universe tho and a very close second as far as sando quality tho but twice the price) or D'amatos (the worst of them imo but to be fair i'm pretty sure ALL of them use their bread) Anyway, I've been to all of the ones here and New York and Milwaukee and lots of other places - even at various spots in Italy itself (tho this style of Deli is more "Italian American" so very much a different vibe) still this place is the best. Only problem i have is that its pretty much guaranteed there will be Cops there which is a bummer for me but most likely you dont care about. Also probably really dumb for me to explicitly spew into the void on this surveillance machine attached to my google account but...its a relevant note for some people”
