Pompette is a perfect neighborhood spot! Busy enough on any given night, that it feels like the place to be, but not so busy that you have to book a table months in advance. And of course, excellent food and drinks! I love to come here with friends, or by myself at the bar. Seasonal favorites include the beet martini, and the lamb couscous.

The brunch was delicious with plenty of choices, from eggs and bacon to fresh salads and sandwiches. Everything came out hot and well-prepared, and the portions were just right. The coffee was fresh and the staff made sure drinks were always topped up. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a late morning meal with friends.

One of my favorite spots in Bucktown! Great happy hour deals, excellent cocktails, and a menu that regularly changes but is always amazing. Service is friendly and prompt. Food is so so delicious. We love Pompette!!

Pompette was great! Wonderful cocktails and wine, only thing I would change is the size of the cheese portion. It was tiny for $8. The gnocchi and scallops were my personal favorite dish. Can't wait to go back!

I recently had a fantastic brunch at Pompette and left feeling impressed by the entire experience. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgable. The food was made with high quality ingredients, well prepared, and had a nice presentation. The highlights of our meal include the crab croquets, that were made with fresh crab and perfectly seared with a delicious pepper salsa. The shrimp and grits also stood out for the quality of shrimp and creativeness of the dish by using a peanut chili oil. One of our new favorite brunch spots in the city!

Outstanding brunch at Pompette while in town for Christmas with the kiddos! Where to start… the food was spectacular (Dad loved the grits, Mom loved the hashbrowns, sons loved the donut holes and cinnamon rolls “just the right amount of moisture”), the ambience was great, and the highlight was a visit from Chef Aaron- made our day and week!!

Such a cute spot! Great vibe and Sophie our server was amazing with great recommendations. Cocktail list is very unique and may not be for everyone’s taste buds but the wine list outdid itself. Tables are VERY close to each other, doesn’t bother me but jusy know that going in.

Such a great wine bar serving most delicious dishes! First time here & nothing disappointed us. Our server was a delight with great recommendations on both drinks & food. Highly recommend the marinated olives & Manchego which were seasoned well & slightly zesty. The short ribs with polenta was the star, but I’m also a sucker for fried green tomatoes which were so light despite being fried. Began with a slightly briny wine, then the Olive Oil cocktail (a twist on the Dirty Martini but less salty), & ended with red wine & herbal tea. For a Wednesday, this place was packed. Would recommend reservations or getting there early to snag a spot at the chic yet modern bar. With a seasonal menu, I can say we will most definitely be back.
