I moved to Chicago from Texas and this is the best, authentic Mexican food on this side of town! The food here is ALWAYS consistent. They always have the best cut of meat, superb ingredients, generous portions, reasonable prices, and phenomenal staff!! Whenever I come here, I am greeted like family and treated as such! Y'all have definitely gained a loyal patron!

The best tacos in this area. They give you the choice of Mexican rice or cilantro lime rice, cilantro rice and beans were also delicious. This is definitely a spot you want to visit when in this area.

Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We ordered tacos, tostadas, and the breakfast chilaquiles — each one exceeded our expectations in both flavor and quality. My kids couldn't get enough of the food, which is always a great sign! A special mention goes to the maracuyá (passion fruit) drink featured in the photo — it was incredibly refreshing and packed with flavor. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that we’ll definitely be coming back for.

Onions and cilantro is on my top spots for tacos! How it isn’t more know is beyond me! I will say it is amazing! The food speaks for itself. Beyond Amazing! I got the three taco dinner and my friend for the fajitas! The owners even gave us a more mild salsa to try. have to say they are amazing! Loved the food and the service was great!

All-around five stars. It’s exactly the type of place you can go to every day and have something different everyday and whether you take to go or eat-in(highly recommend, nice atmosphere, good amount of seating), you could have something different every time you go and it’ll be good. The we tried 5 different meats, all amazing - I was very into the burrito. Our small squad liked the tacos. It didn’t break the bank, very fairly priced at around $10-$14 per person. And the service was stellar. The people working here are humble and honest. We’re happy to have gone here, thank you!

We get delivery and pickup from Onions and Cilantro all the time. It’s awesome! A lot of spots in the area can be very greasy, but Onions and Cilantro do an amazing job of making their food delicious without all the grease. Also, I can eat the avocado salsa on anything. Bonus points for their quick delivery and BYOB.

got tacos to go and they were EVERYTHING we wanted. i am craving them still. i love that they have the el pastor flavor with the chicken instead of pork, for people who don’t want to eat pork. the sauces were unique, the salsas were bright. it’s not a very long wait either and they pack everything up really nicely to go. i will be back again and again

I want to add to the already raving reviews about this place - it’s great! We got our food pretty quickly and they delivered it to the table. Super great portion size and full of flavor. Very satisfying, especially with a Sidra soda on the side!
