“First time here. I ordered a steak sope and a stake taco. They were filling and delicious. Didn’t take a picture of the taco.”

“This is my FAVORITE Mexican in the area! The huaraches are HUGE and delicious. I finish it whole each time.”

“It was my family first ordering from there.it was very good food of huaraches and the chicken quesadilla.”

“Great food first time having a Huarache! Came hungry but then couldn’t even finish it. Very nice people working here. Freshly cooked chips and salsa… was in and out under $20! 🇲🇽”

“Was craving something new and tasty and found this spot! They have a huge menu and can make some additions to the menu items too! The breakfast burrito with chorizo was great, so were the tacos with rice and beans! The staff are very kind and helped me pick out tasty things. M”

“I would give this spot 6 stars if I could! Excellent customer service and great tasting food. Great vegetarian options.”

“Really great experience and food here with amazing customer service. They make the agua frescas fresh and they give you unlimited warm salsa and chips!! Will def be back :)”

“Delicious authentic Mexican tacos. Super clean and the prices are reasonable.”

“Food was overall tasty and the service was fine. Their quesadillas are filling and use a different sort of tortilla (kind of thick version which is likely their specialty). The steak taco and the Al Pastor taco were good. We tried the arracherra but the meat was kind of skimpy. It was served on the flat thick tortilla (huarache?) lathered with green verde salsa, sour cream and cheese. It was yummy, but not worth the price since it came with nothing else. better off with just ordering tacos here. Tried the lime juice, which is pretty good. And have frozen Mexican popsicles but didn’t try it this time. Couldn’t really tell if it was self service or table service,( seems to be a mix of both) . They do provide some chips and hot salsa when you dine in.”

“Food was actually pretty good. Tried the caldo de pollo and huarache de cecina. The lime that I received had mold so I had to throw it out along with the rice and cilantro.”

“The gauging with pricing at restaurants like this one in bucktown is ridiculous! Also, if you are going jack up the prices then you should keep your website menus up to date! It's very misleading to new customers if you are not posting accurate prices on your website period! Also, it's clear this is happening across the country but we need to remind restaurants that it's not ok to short us when it comes to food quality and quantity while increasing prices! For example: this place doesn't add enough meat or fillings so when you bite into the burrito you get several layers of folded doughy tortilla which is pretty gross. Also, your up charge of $5.00 for skirt steak is robbery especially if you are not filling the burrito with a reasonable amount of meat to begin with! Your website menu shows a 3 taco dinner for $13.99 and then a premium 3 taco dinner at $18.99. However, when we arrived to your restaurant both dinners increased with the premium dinner starting at $20.99 plus your absurd upcharge of $5.00 for skirt steak option. So $25..99 for a mediocre 3 taco dinner? What's the premium price for if you still have to upcharge another $5? Also, their plate portions are small on huge oval plates. Lastly, regarding the young lady that served us today: She should be able to speak and communicate clearly as well as make ALL your customers feel welcomed! My friend was more than generous when he paid and tipped very well for our meals even if after she ignored him and didn't acknowledge his presence or ask him if he needed anything. This restaurant needs to hire a more experienced and welcoming server that can speak english fluently enough to know what Skirt Steak is or you will lose many customers. So not sure if it was a language barrier or if she just didn't give two flying fig newtons to speak at all!”
