Komoda
Komoda — among the best food in Ukrainian Village. The kind of menu that makes you want to order everything. Service that's warm without being over the top. Good value, owner-operated. [$$]

“Beautiful shop and the owner was very sweet. A lot of eclectic things in this store. The jewelry selection is so stunning! The piece I picked for myself was made by a designer in Kenya. Highly recommended this local shop.”
“Brilliant store for original gifts. The owner is on-site and full of good suggestions. It’s an eclectic mix of jewelry, personal care products (including an amazing hand sanitizer), kitchen ware, things for kids and many others. The selection is not huge but everything seems carefully chosen. I doubt you will not be able to find a gift for someone (or yourself) if you make the trip over this way. B sure to save time to walk from here over to one of the several Ukrainian markets close by to try their prepared deli foods.”
“Komoda is my go-to place for all sorts of gifts and unique finds! Sherri does an amazing job curating the store and product selection. My favorite was the petrified owl barf i got for my brother as a gag gift, and just 10 steps away I always find beautiful jewelry, lotions, and perfumes for my wife. Can't forget about the vintage candy too!”
“Komoda is the best gift shop in the city! The owner, Sherri, has the cutest selection of jewelry, stationary, variety of gifts, and so much more. I’ve been going here for 4+ years and cannot recommend it enough!”
“This is my very favorite store. Sherri has curated the absolute perfect assortment of wonderful little bits and bobs and every shelf feels like a tiny treasure hunt. She is also the most genuinely kind and welcoming person, and you can feel how much love she pours into the space. It’s the kind of place you wander into “just to look” and somehow leave with something (or many things) you didn’t know you needed but now can’t live without. Truly a gem.”
“Komoda is one of my favorite gift shops!! 😊 Sherri, the owner, is the best! She is always so pleasant, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Sherri displays a wide selection of carefully curated gifts and 🪴 🌿 🪴 to boot. Komoda is definitely a place you don't want to miss! 👍👏🫶 p.s. The music playing in the background is great too! 🎶 🎵 🎼 💿 I could literally spend the day at Komoda, then finally walk out with a bag or two. 😉”
“Fantastic shop with a good selection of unique cards and stationary, home fragrances, gifts and lots of pretty jewelry! The owner was very friendly and easy to talk to. I live quite a bit north of this location, but I will absolutely go out of my way to shop here again. I highly recommend checking this shop out!”
“I absolutely LOVE this shop. You can find gifts here that you can't find anywhere else. It's an AWESOME place!”
“Sherry has curated the perfect place for finding that specific gift for someone you didn’t know existed!”
“In the words of my niece, “when you see that bag (with Komoda label), you know it’s going to be good.” This is our go-to for gifts for family and close friends. Sherry, the owner, is warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!”
