I’ve passed by Paris Baguette in Chinatown so many times and always said “next time.” Well… it finally happened.
A very pleasant place with a cozy atmosphere where you can enjoy good but not expensive coffee.
Absolutely LOVED IT. Me & my husband went back twice the same day.
The pastries are simply amazing. Very fresh with so much variety. One is not enough lol.

The pastries and cakes looked amazing but it was just the aesthetics.
I walked in on 15th and ordered a birthday cake over the counter, left a note about what to write on the cake, left a tip, scheduled to pick up on 18th.
I ordered a matcha latte and asked the staff for sugar, but they ignored my request without explanation.

I’ve passed by Paris Baguette in Chinatown so many times and always said “next time.” Well… it finally happened. The second I walk in, the smell hit me. Butter, sugar, baked things everywhere. It’s kind of impossible to ignore. What makes it funny is that it’s a French bakery right in the middle of Chinatown. It just works though. Staff was super nice. Smiling, patient, didn’t feel rushed at all. I ordered a hot chocolate and the Chocolate Supreme Croissant. Hot chocolate was good. Sweet, comforting, did the job. But the croissant… that was a moment. Round, flaky, crispy on the outside and on the Inside Chocolate custard heaven. Then more chocolate on top. And those little crispy pearls. It’s a lot, in the best way. Every bite was crunchy, soft, rich, and messy in a good way. Straight-up chocolate overload. I can’t believe this place has been here all this time and I barely noticed. Easily one of the best pastries I’ve ever had. Not even exaggerating.

OVERALL RATING 6/10 This location is in Chinatown in Chicago. The atmosphere is inviting. The tables, floors, and bathrooms are very clean. As soon as someone gets up from their table, an employee comes and cleans the table. They offer a wide variety of cakes, donuts, and pastries. The music is calming and soothing. The Iced Coffee Latte was not flavorful; very bland. Not able to finish the drink. The pastries are wonderful and fresh.

A wonderful place to hit when visiting Chinatown. Very spacious and has a good vibe where you can sit after a long walk around the area. It’s a great place to chill and have fantastic pastries. They also have a good variety of hot and cold drinks.

“What an incredible pastry shop!!”
What an incredible pastry shop!!! Our cashier Justin was polite and efficient and deserving of the optional tip. The atmosphere is vibrant with tons of foot traffic which offers a feeling of excitement. The trays lined with parchment paper and mini tongs make for a sanitary self service establishment. As for the food: The pictures speak for themselves! So deliciously decadent that it is ridiculous!!!!
