They had a good selection of sweet bread and I gave one star because I everything was a $1 but the 12 items I did buy were all HARD.
I needed an appointment &3 full days to get a tux I went to Formally Modern Tux No appointment; 24-hour turnaround; adjustments done in 20-minutes.
We are 2019 and most the business here in pilsen don't accept credit cards or debit cards only cash.

The sweet smell of bread lures you in. Best fresh treats I’ve had in Chicago. The conchas were warm and soft. The bolillos were fresh, soft and delicious. Would recommend!!

First time here. The strong sweet aroma filled the street which is what lured us in. Great Mexican bread at low prices. The bread was warm and fresh out the oven which was perfect for the cold rainy weather. Grab some bread and enjoy it as you walk down 18th street. The cheese empanada was good! I bought these three breads for $1.80 total. Great deal.

May look like a hole on the wall but it's a gem! You gotta stop by and get authentic Mexican sweet bread. Love it! It also smells amazing!

“This is the best panadería in Pilsen.”
This is the best panadería in Pilsen! The pan dulce is always fresh and they make the most wonderfully soft and sweet conchas. Their pound cakes are also a must and come in an assortment of diferente flavors like nuez, piña, marbled, and coco. You can usually find those at all the local grocery stores but they’re made fresh here. I’ve also tried their cheese and jalapeño loaf which is filled with jalapeños and cream cheese. I just add some turkey, lettuce, and tomato for a quick lunch! Cash Only
