“I love Pho and this place has officially become my go to spot. I’ve had pho all over Chicago and this spot is the place I recommend to everyone who asks where they should go for Pho.”

“Oxtail pho was delicious! Everything was brought right away and the service was good.”

“Everything was good, a bit better than expected all around. Banh xeo was extra crispy. Pho solid broth. Com suon dac biet a whirlwind of taste. We liked everything. Attentive service. Need better ventilation and some attention to noise.. lots of speakerphone going on.”

“The pho here is great! There is plenty of parking and space if you want to dine in. Staff is attentive and friendly. I love coming here with family and friends and would recommend anyone to give it a try!”

“This has been a spot for me to try in Chicago. Food I ordered the Pho Dac Biet. This was far from being a "Dac Biet". It's ordinary at best. The sliced eye of round in there was ok. The Brisket was hard, likely frozen after cooking instead of being stewed for a good period of time so it melts in your mouth. Tripe was treated well. There was 1 small piece of tendon inside (get back to that later). The Broth was missing the deep depth of Beef, star anise, cinnamon, cloves, onion and ginger flavor. Sorta bland. So I ordered an XL bowl. The meat to noodles was way off. There was more noodles than there was meats. For the upgraded price, I was expecting a more balanced between noodles and meats. If I make a return visit, I'll stick with the regular size bowl. Service So when I discovered there was no tendon in my pho when it's supposed to come with some. I waived the waitress over. I was showing her there was no tendon by fishing my bowl for it. After a short while, I found a small teeny tiny piece. I asked if this is how their pho is supposed to be. She called to the kitchen and told them what she saw. In a short bit, a small bowl of tender tendon arrived in front of me. It was unexpected, this is the reason I gave it a 5* for service.”

“I like Pho with cilantro in but this place doesn't put cilantro in Pho. So if you don't want cilantro, this may be the place.”

“Food and service are pretty solid but on my last visit I ordered a watermelon smoothie and it tasted like coconut was mixed in with it. Thankfully I'm not allergic, I just dislike it. But all they said was "That was our mistake." It could have been bad if someone was allergic to coconut. Equipment needs to be washed between customers especially when allergens are involved. I've been here multiple times before and had no issues. When I visited today everything seemed good. Until I found a fly in my pho. 😭 They didn't charge me for it but they did seem a little upset that I didn't want a replacement item instead. My appetite was ruined after seeing it, I'm terrified of bugs.”

“I used to love this place but something is going on with the meat here right now. Ordered short ribs which were noting but gristle and the chicken in the chicken pho was like a single chicken leg chopped up with the bones cut into chunks which was sharp and did not yield much meat. Disappointing- I’d recommend trying another spot nearby.”

“I decided to try Pho 777 this Wednesday since I live nearby and usually go to Pho Nam Lau but figured I’d give a new place a shot. This will be my first and last visit. I’ve been sick and was hoping a healing comforting bowl of pho would help. I ordered chicken pho, a tofu banh mi, two chili sauces, and mochi. I originally asked for matcha and strawberry, but was told they only had strawberry and there was confusion about whether mango was even available, which was annoying. My total came out to about $39, which is pretty expensive for one person. There was also a 10-minute wait for a to-go order, which didn’t make much sense, especially since the food wasn’t hot when I got it. Once I got home and started eating, I found a small caterpillar in my pho midway through my meal. Completely unacceptable and honestly disgusting. I immediately lost my appetite and couldn’t eat anything else. I tried calling multiple times and no one picked up, which is why I’m leaving this review. I do have photos. I would like a refund, and I strongly encourage better food safety practices because this was extremely disappointing and concerning. While your server was kind, the food is questionable.”

“I walked in and an employee greeted & acknowledged me. Then a male customer walked in behind me, asking for service as well, the woman then ignored me like I wasn't standing directly in front of her (and btwn her & him) and proceeded to help the man. Maybe a cultural thing but mark my words, I nor anyone I know, will ever spend money here. Equality & respect are cultural things after all :)”
