“I am the mother of the bride to be. We came to Chicago to celebrate her bachelorette party. It was a wonderful experience dining in here at THE WHALE. And the food was excellent.”

“Great service from our server Eddie! Food never disappoints.. lobster and waffle is my fave”

“Amazing food and service!! Place was definitely the vibe my wife and I were looking for!”

“The patio was an experience! I took my large dog (85lbs) and it was pretty hot out, but the staff grabbed water for him immediately. They turned the fans on and pulled out a ladder to pull the awnings out!!! This place created the atmosphere we were looking for and went above and beyond for my dog. Regarding the food: The lobster and waffles were PHENOMENAL!!! The mango mimosa was the bomb! My friends are the chicken and waffles and also thought it was delicious. They come with little bottles for hot sauce and syrup. Cute and fun! Allows you to enjoy food on your time vs rushing because the syrup is making everything soggy. GREAT EXPERIENCE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

“One of the best made Woodford Reserve Old Fashion I have ever had!”

“Our waitress was awesome and friendly!! Food was amazing as always. We love the Whale.”

“Been in Chicago for almost 4 years now, I personally think this place is arguably the best restaurant in the city solely because of the Petit Tenderloin sandwhich. 10 out of 10, highly recommended this place and that sandwich.”

“There are seasonal sangria, and the Aji tuna is always fabulous. If you’re looking for a good place to hang out with great atmosphere and good drink drinks you have found it!”

“The food, staff, atmosphere was absolutely everything! I come every time that I’m in the Chi!”
