Dog Haus Biergarten - Wicker Park
Dog Haus Biergarten stands out for bold burgers like the Holy Cow/Holy Moly, loaded BLT tots, corn dogs, tenders, and surprisingly excellent Impossible sliders and burritos. Regulars love the lively, dog-friendly Wicker Park setting, welcoming bartenders, affordable drinks, and Thursday $1 beers—great for casual groups or late-night bites. Service can be inconsistent, however, with some diners reporting 45-minute waits and orders never being entered.
What 95 diners keep saying
verbatim, from Google“Stopped by for a late late night bite. Great selection of drinks. Fantastic burgers. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area. Not from the area at all, but will definitely be returning.”
“Was visiting Chicago and decided to stop into this place because it looked so clean inside. Ended up having several burgers with my wife and kids and now we need to plan a trip just to come back to eat at this place. Most amazing burger I’ve ever had. I don’t know what it’s called but I think it’s called the holy cow or the holy moly.”
“The new bartender Beaker was amazing really nice and great service.”
“Went last Saturday and had an amazing time. The bartender Patrick was friendly and great!”
“One eve I found myself walking down the lane an hour past dark, my solemn companion and my dreary thoughts alone my by side in an ever more unfriendly world. Past the neon lights and marquee boards of bustling bars our feet carried us, until we came across one sign that shone with the white glow of heaven. The establishment proclaimed itself to be Dog Haus, and inside I saw not a single patron—a sight which resonated deep within me, for aren't we all a little empty? The only occupants were the bartenders, two men alone in a bustling city much like my companion and I. As though I were a marionette dangled by the strings of fate, my feet carried me across the threshold. The air inside the establishment carried the same yearning I do in my own heart: a constant longing for a home I can never return to, one that maybe never existed to begin with. Our bartender greeted us. His skilled pours filled out cups and his conversation our barren souls. A true storyteller, perhaps descended from a mythic bard of old. Thank you, Patrick, for allowing me, in this one corner of the city, to feel less alone. Five stars...”
“Searching for good vegetarian food? Look no further than Dog Haus, which has some of the best Impossible sliders & burritos that I've ever had, on top of good food options for meat eaters. Lily is not only a wonderful bartender, but also a really nice person to talk to! I couldn't speak more highly of this establishment.”
“Great place for dogs! Most affordable drinks in Wicker Park! 10/10 happy hour and delicious corn dogs and tenders. Ken (and the gal with purple hair and large pendant necklace) were wonderful and so nice to our pooch.”
“Great food and great service! Lilly was awesome and drew Gs on our Guinness cups so we could try and split the G!”
