“A fantastic spot for Ethiopian cuisine and a great place to share a meal. We ordered the family platter for 4-5 which came with a massive variety of flavored meats and vegetables served over injera - the tartare, beef stir-fry, tilapia, beet salad, and collard greens were all standouts, all packed with incredible flavor.”

“Best Ethiopian cuisine in town. Moses and his family were so hospitable.”

“The food was amazing! 100% will be coming back. We ordered the combination platter. There are different combinations depending on the number of people. My friends are I finished so quickly because it was soooo good. Service was great too.”

“I've been to several Ethiopian restaurants. This is my favorite. I will def come back.”

“Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food! Highly recommend ordering the coffee aswell! Will definitely be back”

“everything was amazing - so flavorful and delicious!! and appreciated the very friendly service. will be back again!”

“Food was awesome .. the sambusa appetizers were yum and the one family dishe (lamb, cabbage, beef, chicken and egg curry, lentils and collard greens) had so much taste and flavor... Would go back again .”

“Loved the food so much — my whole family enjoyed the plate with vegetarian and meat/fish dishes and injera. We left with full tummies. I liked the Ethiopian margarita as well. Next time, I’d love to try the tea and dessert. The service was great as well!”

“First time to Tesfa, and our family was delighted with the atmosphere and food. Yeah, the service isn’t the fastest, but that, in my opinion, is a plus. Our server was kind and gracious. The food was terrific. Perfect spice levels and good quantities. There were four of us and we ordered a platter with 3 veggie and 3 meat dishes. My favorite was the Asa be-Shiro (tilapia). Loved the spices. Lastly, the atmosphere is terrific. Upscale enough to know this place is here for a date night or a family get together. It isn’t here for takeout only. TVs playing Ethiopian music videos and a football game.”

“The food is sooo good here and the vibes are amazing! Our waiter was telling us about how it’s his family business and they are working on getting enough business that they can open their rooftop patio regularly. It’s a beautiful space!! We got the family platter with four meat and four vegetarian dishes and everything was DELECTABLE. Make sure to get here early because they make everything fresh so it takes a while to get your food.”

“We were quite hungry when we got there and ordered a 2 meat platter. They tried to get us to eat the sambusa but we went straight for the main. Injera was very soft and all the dishes were tasty. It took almost 20-30 minutes for our platter to arrive. Ambience was decent and there was African music playing in the background. Will visit again.”
