Happy Lobster Food truck has the best Lobster I ever ate. I’ve been seeing their ads that made my mouth water. I do love lobster. I will be a frequent customer! The lobster was done just right the bun was toasted just right and mayo and butter was also applied just right creating the yummiest sandwich I ever had. The sandwich also had a generous portion of lobster so sweet, delicate and tasty. Thanks Happy Lobster for making my first lobster roll experience perfect 🥰💕🦞I jealously guarded my lobster and ate my sandwich in my car so I wouldn’t have to share lol

“Absolutely top-notch.”

Absolutely top-notch. Ordered both Regular and Angry Lobster rolls, for $26 it might seem but pricy but trust me on the the taste and freshness of the lobsters. Try the Angry Lobster version (ie spicy mayo added to the regular roll and some other secret😛)

Dang! The price is intimidating, but they really delivery on the quality and quantity of lobster per roll. I opted out of the butter and mayo for my roll. I put the slaw on the bun and the lobster was fabulous. My 8 year old daughter loves lobster and the junior size roll was perfect for her. I cannot wait for them to return to Pollyanna Brewing in Lemont!

great place hidden inside Washington Hall in downtown Chicago. I had fish and chips (Fried Fish Basket) that was made of 3 small pieces of Haddock and fries in addition I got soda, fish was $17 and soda $4 in total it was $21.5. This place doesn't take cash, only cards. Food was very good, fish tasted good and fries were delicious. It is a bit prices but better tasting than some other places here in downtown area I had, atmosphere in Washington Hall also very good, very relaxing and air conditioned, plenty seats to sit. Good about this location is that in Washington Hall there a lot of other eating establishments so if others dont like fish they can get pizza, sushi....

This place is inside a spacious food mall. I wasn't sure what I wanted when I went inside the mall. I walked around to see what all restaurants were there and came upon this place and as much as I love lobster, I knew I wanted to try them. The wait was about 7-8 minutes, which I didn't mind as I was with a buddy to eat lunch there at the mall. I ordered the lobster grilled cheese and fries. When I opened the wrapper, the angels were already humming. Looked delicious. I took one bite and was in instant HEAVEN. Flavorful and so good! Fries were seasoned well and yummy. The price is worth it as it is lobster. This was definitely a gourmet sandwich. I can't wait to come back. Staff was friendly. Thank you The Happy Lobster, you've got a new and soon returning customer outta me. Great food!

Tonight, we tried out the Happy Lobster Truck which was park in Arlington Heights tonight. After Bar Harbor last year and having the most amazing Lobster I wasn't expecting all that much, but I love lobster so, I gave it a shot. To my surprise the lobster was excellent, and the very tart coleslaw worked well. It's not 2lbs sandwich like Maine but the quality was great, and the sandwich size and price were fair.

Happy Lobster Food Truck rolled into my area from 5-8PM, and I'm so glad I caught them. The Angry Lobster Bun and Grilled Cheese Sandwich were absolute winner.The angry lobster had a nice kick thanks to the perfectly balanced jalapenos and mayo.

I had happy lobster from the food truck. I see that the truck has a schedule and I’ve noticed the adds for different towns to pick up but this was my first time trying happy lobster at Sunday on state street in Chicago. I had the angry lobster sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. I always talk about one of the best lobsters rolls i had was in Boston but this one adds to my list as it is just as good. For the price it was a nice size and feeling. I’ve been checking the truck schedule every since waiting on them to be near my town definitely will eat from happy lobster truck over and over

The Happy Lobster is what I order’d I love how much respect was put into the lobster, it was sooo tender yet cool tasting paired with the sizzling hot(temperature ) n sweet brioche bun omg perfect balance. I received it from the FoodTruck during the StateStreet BlockClub party. They were sooo respectful kind and patient the lines were long and it was 90degrees plus but the food still came out fast and delicious loved it. I will be visiting the store lol or following that food truck lol

I love lobster and in Chicagoland, I have tried plenty. Happy Lobster Truck beats the competition whether brick and mortar or on wheels. Unlike some of the others, you can taste how fresh the lobster is. The sandwich itself is well-balanced. And the value of how much you get for what you pay is unparalleled. You don’t get nickel and dime’d. More meat plus the slaw and chips are included in the sandwich price. And maybe best of all are the people. Ryan has been out in my direction with his stops for over a year and EVERY experience is excellent. He remembers who I am, how I like my sandwiches, and the meal is perfect without fail. Great people and great food make it easy for me to be a regular and recommend Happy Lobster Truck to family, friends, and coworkers. I truly appreciate Ryan and Happy Lobster Truck.
