“We came here on a Monday night.”

We came here on a Monday night. They weren’t crazy busy. We enjoyed everything. For drinks we got Duke’s martini with gin and a French 75. The martini was smaller than I expected but cold and strong. Just what I wanted. We had the steelhead tartare and scallops for starters. Both were excellent. The scallops especially were deliciously buttery and garlicky. We shared the cast iron fillet. It came out perfectly pink with wonderful charred bits on the edges. The caramelized onion topping was a good addition. With the steak we had the bib lettuce salad. It was a whole head of lettuce lightly dressed with a tangy dressing. A nice counter balance to the richness of the steak. Both of our desserts were rich and tasty. The pear Mille feuille was refreshing and light. Toffee pudding sticky and rich. We enjoyed both. Service was attentive and pleasant. Ambiance is old world elegance and soft lighting. A beauty space to relax and share foods with family or friends.

Fantastic dinner for restaurant week!! Had the most amazing service from Alex, our waiter 🔥. He recommended the sloppy joes which were fire.The ambiance was excellent and love the art deco menus too. Also s/o Tom Holland for the rec!

This restaurant exceeded all expectations. The service was exceptional, the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was stunning. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and the staff truly made the entire experience unforgettable. This was easily one of the best meals, and overall dining experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommend! If you’re looking for an exceptional experience, ask for Lateef. He coordinated our event flawlessly for a group of around 23 people and was incredibly professional from start to finish. He truly made the evening memorable. Our menus were custom made for our special event! I wish I had more pictures to share. I was soaking up the experience and forgot to take pictures. A special thank you to our server, Heather, who was extremely attentive and ensured our drinks and food were nothing short of perfect. Lastly, thank you to Manager Jonty for overseeing everything and making sure every detail was executed perfectly.

Wow! What an excellent Sunday lunch at Hawksmoor, Chicago. The beef was perfectly cooked and there are no words to describe the exquisite sticky toffee pudding! John, our waiter, and Craig, the floor manager were attentive and ensured our visit was perfect. Highly recommend this steak restaurant!

We had reservations at 7pm and able to order meals at 7:48pm which quite long for not busy night. But we did have great cocktails im so in love with Reformed pornstar which going well with Vietnamese & Caruso oyster. We had 32oz Chateaubriand which came out so perfect. We will be back for Brunch

“A fantastic dining experience.”

A fantastic dining experience. Our server, Alex was very attentive and kind. We both got the Sunday roast and it was absolutely delightful. The portion sizes are good. Thr prices are fair for the amount and quality of the food. This is a place you should definitely check out. The sticky toffee pudding was really tasty and the pavlova was amazing with a fantastic lemon flavor.

We spent the weekend in the city and the Hawksmoor was recommended to us by a friend. It’s our new favorite spot for steak. Oscar took care of us throughout dinner, guiding us from start to finish and everything he suggested was perfect. We both had ribeyes and omg, the best! If you are a potato fan, you must try the chop house hash browns, light and creamy inside and crispy outside. We finished by splitting a sticky toffee pudding. Next time I’m getting one all for myself.

Got a steak here, which they are known for. It was so nice, so tasty Atmosphere is dark wood and iron, really nice. It's chic casual. Sunday roast is absolutely stupendous! If your in town on a Sunday, that is when the roast is available, make reservations, it's that good. Can a new or well drink and prepare to be well fed. Cheers
