PIZZ'AMICI — the Focaccia anchors this Fulton Market italian spot. A holdout in the best possible way. There's real intention behind the cocktail list, and BYOB. Alcione Gonzalez: "The pizza crust is perfection, perfectly crispy" [$$]

🍷BYOB — grab a bottle next door, they'll open it.

Started a 4 day pizza crawl here at Pizz’Amici and was delighted for this incredible spot to be the “starter gun”. Negronis are dialed in and not to be missed. Service is friendly and ready to assist with your journey, which should include the pepperoni and the pepperoncini/sausage. Dessert - don’t skip

This was probably the best pizza we have had. Obviously depends on what you like but very good pizza. We got there about 10 mins before 5pm on a Thursday and were the first ones in line. Not a large place so would recommend small 2/4 person groups but was fantastic. Coming back to Chicago this would be the first restaurant we would make sure we came back to.

if you want an excuse to not talk to your date but still enjoy some good pizza, come here. it can get loud when it’s full in here lol but it’s also not too hard to talk to the person in front / next to you. for drinks, we tried the dirty martini (a very solid and good one!), espresso martini (also good, imagine a dark chocolate mocha), and the menabrea beer for the pizza (excellent). we had the meatballs (unfortunately didn’t live up to the hype for us) and a pizza half pepperoni (really gooood) and half mushroom and sausage (also good). the pizza wasn’t transformative, but can def understand the hype. for the price point tho—which def has to do with the ambience—prolly wouldn’t get again personally? but i would bring people here, because it is a cute vibe! thank you all, restaurant team, for a nice experience!

The Italian beef pizza, the pepperoni Negroni, the meatballs with slagel farm products, the dang white anchovy ceaser salad. All amazing!!

This place is a lot of fun. We sat at the bar and ordered 2 Menabreas and a sausage, black olives, and banana pepper pizza. Then we sat back and enjoyed the atmosphere. It genuinely seemed like the people working here loved being here. We met the beverage manager and he was chatting it up with everyone, making cocktails like the pizza negroni with ease, connecting with the patrons. The pizza came and it delivered as a great tavern style pizza. The sauce was the best I've had in a while, most places it seems have steered towards a sweeter sauce, not this place. The crust held up to the crispiness, not drooping while holding the 3 toppings. And the sausage, can't get much better imo. The only complaint I had was the crust could have had a better taste. It wasn't bad by all means, and definitely did crunch at the bite. I'd recommend this place and bring people back with ease. A great addition to Grand Ave

Walked in here on a Friday early around 5 and got a window table. It was such a cute date spot within the restaurant for me and my wife. It reminded me of an old school vibe with the little curtains. People talk about the wait or line, just go and try to get in. We did and it worked. This place is worth the hype. I couldn’t stop eating the pizza. We had mushroom, jp hot gard, and sausage. Started with the caesar salad. That was a huge salad and very fresh. Ended it with the tri ice cream. All under $75 for a date of 2 people. Best tavern I’ve had in Chicago. Very thin and crispy. Undercarriage is perfect. Good work 💯

Crazy how there's multiple pizza spots on the block, but this one has a month wait on reservations. Had to see why. Glad I did... The cracker-thin crust is phenomenal! Not sure if it's a braggable moment, but I can eat a whole 14" pizza on my own. Sooooo good. 😋 I'll be back next month. 😄

Some of the best pizza in town, ultra thin crust and the ingredients tasted fresh. Margarita had a smoky twist to it that wasn't expecting was a pleasant surprise. Meatballs were great but that sauce was even better! The trio Gelato was a great dessert to end it with.

This is one of the highest tier tavern cut thin crust pizzas you can get anywhere. That is, if you can get a reservation, or turn up very early to see if you can get seated.

Even better than we hoped! Great food, fun old Chicago ambience and great service. We waited in the frigid cold before they opened was luckily able to sit at the bar. The drinks were outstanding along with the food! Highly recommend getting the focaccia and buratta! Pizza was so darn yummy! Wish we ordered an extra one to take home to enjoy!
