this is a nice little cafe where you order up at the counter and then pick a place to sit, and they bring you your food. the hummus is exceptional, very creamy and dreamy. combo plate is very good, beef cooked perfectly, and you get to try a little of everything. we didn’t love the yogurt salad but would try a different salad. the shawarma sandwich is great and their garlic sauce is essential. the place is clean and organized and staff are friendly.

Food is delicious! I come here all the time for lunch as it sits on a busy street in Oak Park where I work. You get this lunch special for under $10 which is a damn steal — look at all the food you get! Just make sure you go from 11-2 if you want the lunch special, still can’t go wrong with anything else on the menu. Definitely check it out.
