I am taking all the stars away!!!. On top of everything, they charge 3% credit card fee and do not inform client’s!!
Order some nachos and ended up with 6-8 chips with beans, cheese, and chewy steak with a drizzle of sourcream.

Excellent! The open faced quesadilla was amazing. Tortilla soup was delicious and I had the carne asada. Waiter was helpful explaining dishes and making suggestions. The coco flan and crème brûlée were both excellent

This restaurant is a family favorite, recommend it 1000%. Been going there for years now. Salsa is fresh, made daily and is 10/10 quality. Today we got fish tacos, estillo trompo el pastor burrito, chicken tacos. And for dessert the best crème brûlée of any restaurant I have ever been to as well as pumpkin flan which is perfect for fall. Definitely stop by!

Wholly Frijoles is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to! The food is bursting with authentic flavor—fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and made with real care. From the homemade salsa to the tacos and enchiladas, everything was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. You can truly taste the love and tradition in every bite. Highly recommend for anyone craving real, flavorful Mexican food!

Delicious food, wonderful service and relaxing atmosphere. Unique and creative dishes. Very generous portions with beautiful presentation. Salsa was delicious! Flautas were huge and stuffed with tender juicy chicken then topped with green chili and cheese. Steak enchiladas were delicious. Red sauce had just enough spice.

Honestly, I am not big fan of Mexican cuisine, but I have to admit that everything was really good! I barely know what I ordered 😅. I took some soup, and some sandwich with steak ( photos attached since I can’t remember the name of anything, visited this place 2 weeks ago). Portions are huuuuge, but really tasty! Service is more than amazing! I had feeling I am in some small, local place somewhere in Latin America 😊 would recommend to everyone!

I get a torta here once a year as a treat to myself. I live in florida and fly here to Skokie just for this torta. Carne asada. I walk in and it’s ready for me in 10 minutes from calling on the phone. I have never had a bad torta.

I can't believe I've driven past and heard great things for years and never came for dinner. If you are looking for something different than your standard Mexican faire this is the place! Elevated Mexican food with many unique offerings. The appetizer combo plate was amazing! You usually only see platters like this in a Chinese restaurant or bar food for deep fried stuff. For only $9 a person they gave us 4 outstanding apps each one better than the next! The seafood ceviche was delicious & the empanada was stellar! The polo poblano was like a Mexican style chicken Kiev served with two sides, free soup and a generous portion large enough to share with 2 people. I can't wait to come back and work my way through the menu.
