“Incredible tacos, some of the best I've ever had. I think the chorizo taco contained the best chorizo I've ever had too. Definitely a must try, you will not be disappointed!”

“Amazing place!!. Service is great. Food is what you expect with places like this in the city. Just pure 🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!. AL PASTOR ARE JUST 🤌🏾. RICE AND BEANS!!!🤤🤤🤤 Asada and carnitas are great too!!. You won't be disappointed.”

“The Food and Drinks 🍸(Margaritas) here are So, so Good Here that it gets Crazy Busy. Too many Loyal Clients for the amount of tables available.”

“Great authentic place. Friendly and fast service. Great portions”

“Good food. Al pastor does not have pineapple so I would rate them 3/5. But pretty good food and open late.”

“Pretty solid all around. I usually stay away from asada as it tends to be supppeeerrr over cooked and undered seasoned. It definitely wasn’t here, very well seasoned. Nice smoky red salsa that is SPICY but good. Tomatillo salsa is decent but not my favorite. MIL said the margarita was meh.”

“The stretch of Lawrence Avenue in Ravenswood near the Metra station is packed with Mexican spots, and the bar for quality in this neighborhood is quite high. Fortunately, this place holds its own. I ordered the chile relleno tacos to go, served on corn tortillas with the classic cilantro and onion. The flavors were authentic and well-balanced, making it a great carry-out option for a quick and satisfying meal. Definitely a solid addition to the local lineup.”

“Excellent service and great portions. The large Horchata is actually quite large, which is a hard deal to find nowadays. $2 Taco Tuesday and Thursday only applies to the pastor, cabeza, chicken, and carnitas. I wasn't really impressed by any of these 4 but the asada is excellent. Service is immaculate and the vibes are on-point. I will definitely be back to support this business. Edit: I did, in fact, return to try more tacos. Asada - 8/10 the best Carnitas - 7/10 neutral tasting Pollo - 7/10 also neutral tasting Pastor - 7/10 similarly bland Cabeza - 7/10 very moist but flavorless Rajas - 6/10 a bit tough Chorizo - 4/10 bad The green salsa is excellent and does make the tacos more tasty. However I do wish the tacos themselves had more depth in flavor.”

“Tacos were pretty solid and for $1.99 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, you really can’t complain. Nothing mind-blowing here, just standard-issue offerings.”
