We went there on a tuesday night for the first time. It is a lovely cosy place, with a mexican atmosphere. The service was incredible and they we’re really nice to us. We appreciate them! The food, although it may not have the looks (but yeah, beans), is really great and has a lot of taste. Especially the mole! Que rico!! Worth the visit! Thanks!

First time in after passing it in our neighborhood for years- and we had a wonderful time! No problem getting seated at 6pm on a Friday. The place seems small but they have a large hidden back room. I got the chili relenos dinner which was some of the best I’ve ever had. The cheese was excellent and I loved the toasting on the top. This place does not skip on the details. We got the 1/2 premium margaritas pitcher which was perfect for 2 people to kick off a Friday night. Great value. Between our meals, the drinks, and chips- we spent only $70. Will definitely be back!

Was driving home and thought about getting fast food but drove by Que Rico and after years of passing and never going in, decided to pull over and dine in solo. I arrived early before the dinner crowd around 5:30 and sat down in a lovely dining room that made you feel like you weren’t in Chicago. Complementary chips and salsa was fantastic to munch on while looking at the menu. Speaking of the menu, SO MUCH to choose from. I was about to order a traditional meal but then looked at the chalkboard that said “Mexican Meatloaf: Most Popular Dish!” and decided why not. As you can see in the photo, WOW! Tasted very similar to a traditional meatloaf and mashed potatoes but it definitely had a Mexican flavored kick to it. Highly recommend coming back. Good spot for a date night!

Walking into Que Rico is like walking into your family’s kitchen. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. The food is some of the best food that you will have in the city and the margaritas are amazing ❤️ It’s hard to pick a favorite dish but I do love the chicken enchiladas suizas. This is also a great venue to host any type of party. I’ve celebrated many birthdays here, the owner is very accommodating to whatever needs you might have. If you are looking for great food, drinks and company this is the place for you !!!
