Ok Tuco and Blondie already has it down with the vibes and delish food/drinks - and have always had really great service, but tonight took the cake - had the best host and server and beyond impressed by how friendly and thoughtful they are!! I came in close to closing and had shared that I was so glad to be there because I had a tough day and the lovely person seating me replied that I definitely deserve a marg. What a gem, I didn’t even realize but at the end of my meal she had comped my marg!! The server was also incredible and the whole experience turned around my whole day. I wish I would have caught either of their names but big shout out to the crew working Sunday, June 29 and I will definitely remain a customer/recommend to friends for a go to spot in the neighborhood!!

I always love the food, and have even tried new things that I never knew I would like here. I am a very frequent visitor and always enjoyed my visits. For the food, it is always great, I recommend the chilli con queso and tacos/quesadillas. The service is great, this current experience is the worst I have ever had, and it is still average when compared to other restaurants. The atmosphere is great as well, the patio outside is always fun to sit by and can always be enjoyed during the summer. The inside decorations are also amazing, as they are very fun and there is never any feeling of discomfort. I highly recommend coming and trying out the place, as it is in a great location as well just for the shops and Jenny's is great to go by after eating food. 10/10, highly recommend.

“This place is tremendous!!”

This place is tremendous!!! Great vibe, always busy, and just lively. Really good food from the tacos, the shrimp fajitas, and the taco salad. Ryan, the bartender is awesome and makes an excellent Mango Margarita. The whole staff is excellent and makes you feel like you’re at home.

I’ve been here a few times in the past and I felt like the food was okay. I don’t know if they’ve changed things since then, but it’s definitely much better now. The tacos were flavorful, the rice and beans were delicious, and the chicken tortilla soup was *chefs kiss*. I only have the atmosphere at 3 because it’s a little loud and I guess I’m getting old! 🙃

Changed my rating from 4 to 5 after dining here. The service is good (sometimes even a bit too much 😅) and the food is yummy. My old review was about a delivery and the main issue was with the fish taco which I don't see on the menu anymore. Here is the old review: Ordered delivery of 3 tacos (fish, chicken tinga, al pastor) and a steak fajita. The fish taco wasn't great, but the rest of the food was okay.

*VEGETARIAN* Great food, especially their vegetarian options. The portobello fajitas are fantastic and unique (MUST TRY) and their guacamole is really special too. The service is excellent the server came to check on me at least 4 times. Food came out quick and quality was great. Nice atmosphere, a little loud. Portions are plentiful. Definitely planning to visit again.

Stopped by for dinner on a beautiful night and sat on their cute back patio. It really is nice back there. We ordered a Blondie salad and Al Pastor tacos. Both were really good. The salad had a ton of chicken on it and really good flavor. The tacos were really tasty. The pork was so tender and flavorful it seemed like it must have been cooking for days! Service was nice, drinks were good and overall very happy with our time at Tuco and Blondie. 10/10

We had a great meal! Fast & friendly service, delicious food and margaritas! Yes please. I was happy to see the veggie options on the menu - portobello mushrooms and cauliflower were delicious. Our server helped us with modifications to fit our dietary preferances. I was able to order the classic margarita without egg white since I don’t eat eggs.

Tuco and Blondie is a super fun and delicious bar and restaurant conveniently located on the Southport corridor. The tacos are immaculate, the patio makes you want to kick back with a marg all day long. In short, I loved every taco I tried and will be back next time I'm in the area.

Visiting my son from Michigan and went to this amazing Mexican restaurant. We got seated right away- make a reservation, this place is super popular!! Rudy waited on us, and he made great recommendations based on our questions. I recommend the Cadillac Margarita pitcher!! We got it spicy!! Fresh jalapeños, and no pre made mix. Super authentic. Some of the best Mexican Food I have ever had. All of the staff was super friendly, and the food came out fast. I would highly recommend if you go to Chicago. Take a visit out to the South Port neighborhood and experience this cool ambiance and hip neighborhood. We will be back! See you soon Rudy!!!
