Was hungry for lunch, not from the neighborhood and didn’t want typical fast food and drove by this restaurant. Loved that it had a small parking lot where I could park for free. Upon walking in, Mexican music played and I could order to-go at the counter but opted to sit down and was waited on. I got the carne asada burrito dinner along with a Mexican Coke and everything hit the spot. I will definitely come back!

Been here on two occasions and it was a good experience both times. The adobada and asada tacos were really good. Definitely tasted the limón in the asada. 3 tacos, rice, beans, and a medium drink for 18 & some change. The other time I had ordered a Mexicali burrito and all i remember is that it was good ✌🏽

We ordered, tacos, chorizo, asada and pastor. Gordita de al pastor. Two horchatas and a Jamaica. Everything was so delicious, the best al pastor tacos in awhile!!! And the horchata was more than just right, it was perfect. And my friend lined her Jamaica.

We came up from Florida and ran into this joint while driving by and hungry. Everything we ordered was delicious from the aguas frescas we ordered to the every dish that we got. The gorditas and huaraches were big in size so they don't cheap out on the portions. And the caldo de camarón had some of the biggest shrimp I've ever seen a restaurant serve. The price for the food is fair and well worth it. Completely recommend this joint to everyone.

Ordered take out, for 3 taco dinner with beams and rice. I ordered carnasade (steak) on corn shells, I've never had such juicy and slightly chard meat ! It was a full experience, I very much enjoyed dinner and will be back. Visited this location and had a great time

Everything was Excellent here. The carne Asada that they use is high-quality. The way they prepared is very good too they do not flood their meat with oil like some other places I know. I was looking for a replacement for La Pala Pita and I think I found it . This place is excellent if you’re looking for a real steak taco. not something gross like burrito house or taco burrito king. Try for yourself it’s delicious

“Last night, I found this little gem, and I'm hooked.”

Last night, I found this little gem, and I'm hooked! I wanted tacos, but from where? That was the million $ question. I have given up on Northside Chicago tacos. Southside? No. I was not going to the south side for tacos. All i wanted to find was good flavorful asada meat, chopped right, great tortillas, and a good salsa. Thankfully, I found more than that. Tacos los primos has handmade tortillas, gorditas, sopes and quesadillas, and much much more food. We ordered take-out. We live about 20 min from this joint and food made home hot, fresh and delicious. Packaged extremely well. While we ordered, we had a green salsa chicken tamale & a red pork tamale. Both were moist, meaty, and very flavorful. The texture of every bite was perfect. For take out, we ordered all our tacos with handmade tortillas, yes there was a $1 upcharge, totally worth it! Asada was spectacular, super flavorful, tender, chopped into cubes. Handmade Gorditas were to die for, green salsa chicharron topped with all the goods. Handmade quesadilla was the size of my face. I highly recommend the rajas y queso (peppers and cheese, vegetarian). And then the quesabirrias, very cheesy and the birria meat, was very flavorful. My only disappointment was the pastor, not my cup of tea. But I do recommend giving it a try, hopefully you like em. Thank you to the lovely lady that took our order, she was super helpful and her smile is contagious. I will definitely be back, dining in next time.

Updated review 2025: the chili pepper tamale is soooo good! I also got to eat the rice and beans this time because I got the meal- so good! I should have ordered it before! Serving sizes are generous so I took my leftovers to go. Everyone who works here is so nice, I actually look forward to getting my car serviced so I can come here for lunch 😄 Original review 2024: Yum! Stopped in while waiting for my car to be serviced next door. Really yummy tacos, chips, and horchatas 🌮 🥤
