“This place is great. Chalk another one up to my lovely wife, who saw this new Mexican place in Uptown mentioned on her socials! Cozy, comfortable, modern, tastefully designed, well lit in a good way, mellow Spanish music, World Cup on the big screen, friendly counter service. All true, but the big deal is the food! Fantastico! I had the Plantain bowl! I mean how great is that that they have a bowl with many great fresh ingredients with a sweet fried plantain base! I hope this place prospers. I'll certainly do my part!”

“La Mexicana Grill has been on my “want to go” list for so long before they offer tofu as a protein, which is pretty unusual! I finally picked up lunch here last week and got a vegetarian burrito with grilled tofu added. The burrito was loaded with perfectly cooked fajita veggies, guac, rice and beans, pico de gallo, and wonderfully seasoned grilled tofu. It was so good!! The service was friendly and fast, and they even provided me with a coupon for $10 off my next order because I was a new customer. Awesome spot!”

I'm going to chalk up the issue I had with my order to technical glitches and will check back in a week or two to see if they've been able to get it resolved. Great service and good atmosphere, food, I'll find out soon! My initial review involved questions about their pricing. All the things that were supposed to be included I was being up charged for per my image. They're looking into it, so hoping for good things.”
“We order delivery from La Mexicana often - we have two vegetarian/vegans and three meat-eaters in our family. Everyone is always happy with so many options - tofu, fresh veggies, good steak and chicken and seafood. The food is really fresh, never greasy. Their guacamole is the best!”

“Came here for lunch and really enjoyed the meal. It is very clean and the service was great. Very friendly and we enjoyed the steak, carnitas and pulled chicken. And if you want to end with something sweet the warm churros are really good. Will definitely be back again.”
