“The friend fish was very tasty and fried perfectly, but again, the sauce made it a bit sweeter than I’d like”
I've been coming here for a while never had an bad experience besides this one lady always giving me weird looks but that never bothered me and wouldn't stop me from coming to get those shrimp Tacos but today that lady really embarrassed me and humiliated me in front of the customers she didn't want to give me my order I paid for online saying I canceled a previous order so I told her to give me my food or a refund but she just walked off and I was trying to show her the transaction that posted from the previous order but she didn't care.
Food is okay. $25.99 for 3 tacos + chips and guacamole.
Service was questionable the moment I walked in there and the two servers had a very noticeable cold disposition.

I visited Pulpo Loco on a super cold Sunday afternoon for lunch. I was driving by and decided to check them out for a quick taco. To my suprise, the place wowed me completely… the freshness of the food, the cleanliness of the place and the service from the staff took my “quick taco stop” to a very delicious lunch that I can’t wait to have a again. I recommend you check them out!

The best Mexican restaurant in the north side of Chicago! The seafood is fresh, the corundas and flautas exquisite! The food is an explosion of flavor in your mouth! The best part is the impeccable service. Betty was phenomenal! Her kindness, excellent customer service, and attentiveness made my experience simply perfect. Gracias Betty!

“Really tasty and fresh seafood at this Mexican restaurant.”
Really tasty and fresh seafood at this Mexican restaurant. We had guacamole, mixed ceviche, and fried spicy garlic red snapper. We enjoyed everything and think the portions were very large. I did think that the ceviche had a bit too much tomato sauce which turned the dish a bit sweet. I would recommend only using 75% or the amount of sauce that is being used so that there is more focus on that fresh seafood. The fake crab is also not necessary we though. The friend fish was very tasty and fried perfectly, but again, the sauce made it a bit sweeter than I’d like. The fish had a slightly fishy taste, but nothing crazy and I’m sure that can vary from dish to dish.

“Man, El Pulpo Loco is a hidden gem up north.”
Man, El Pulpo Loco is a hidden gem up north! I spent about $40 and got the camarones a la diabla, plus a michelada that slapped. Seafood was fresh, portions were no joke, and the vibe felt super homey—like you’re eatin’ in someone’s kitchen. Chips and salsa came out hot and crisp too. If you’re into mariscos and real-deal flavors, this place is the move.

A great place for some seafood and margaritas. We enjoy the red snapper Diablo. And love that they are open a bit later.

“All-around everything was great.”
All-around everything was great. A few notes, though: spicy means spicy (that's coming from someone who grows Carolina reaper peppers to make hot sauce); some tables are a little cramped the closer you get to the counter Horchata was amazing
