Stopped in for tacos and tried 6 different ones.. all were phenomenal! Mahi mahi tacos, tinga and al pastor were our favorite! Beef nachos did not disappoint. All staff were incredibly friendly! Drinks were tasty and reasonable! Will definitely be back!

“Came here since Tuk Tuk Thai down the street was packed.”

Came here since Tuk Tuk Thai down the street was packed. What a great decision. Originally wanted the enchiladas mole poblano but our waiter advocated for the carnitas chipotle. Not really knowing what to expect, my expectations were more than met. The pork was so tender and juicy. Didn’t really taste the plantain but the mango and plantain pico provided just enough sweetness to complement the chipotle sauce which had the perfect level of spice. Finally, the flour tortillas weren’t anything special but a great vessel to consume the dish and soak up the sauce. Decided to get something different and it paid off as this is the best Mexican food I have had in the city.

This restaurant offers a great dining experience with ample seating and a nice outside section in the back. They have several vegan options; I tried the vegan enchiladas, which were were some of the best I’ve had. My friends enjoyed the al pastor tacos. The free tortilla chips with salsa were fresh and tasty. We ordered palomas and margaritas, and the drinks were well balanced. The service was friendly from start to finish. It's a solid choice if you're looking for good Tex-Mex restaurant

My friend and I got to give El Nuevo Mexicano a shot and I will say we both highly enjoyed the experience. I will say the carne asada taco dinner was legit and the vegan option was also very good! The service was great as well as the waiter checked in often to make sure we were enjoying our experience. Definitely will have to come back and try more menu items!

OMG the food and drinks were fantastic, fresh, and full-bodied. They have a variety of menu selections to meet the needs of the customers. The staff were knowledgeable and accommodating. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The restrooms were clean and stocked. I highly recommend El Nuevo Mexicano.
