I had an incredible experience at El Jardin, a family-owned Mexican restaurant located at 3335 N Clark St, Chicago. From the moment we walked in, you can tell this is a place run with love and passion for authentic Mexican cuisine. I ordered the Carne Asada plate, and it was absolutely delicious perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. My son enjoyed his mole plate, which he said was so flavorful, and his shrimp plate was just right not too spicy, just the right amount of heat. We also shared two plates of nachos, which were cheesy, crispy, and packed with flavor. Everything was fresh and incredibly tasty. The service was good friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Plus, there's plenty of parking available, which made our visit even more convenient. It’s clear that this restaurant is a labor of love from a family I’m related to, and it truly shows in the quality of the food. If you’re in Chicago and craving authentic Mexican food, I highly recommend stopping by El Jardin. You won’t regret it I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Margaritas are the bomb 💣. Chicken fajitas are awesome, my partner and i shared the serving size was enough to share. Shrimp quesadillas are amazing! Definitely appreciated the service and chill vibes of the atmosphere. Def 100% would recommend

Fresh and authentic Mexican food in a comfortable and fun space. Must get the guacamole, queso fundido con chorizo and the carne asade "Michael" which comes topped with cheese and your choice of sauce. The steak is marinaded and cooked to order, it melts in your mouth!

“the staff is so kind and courteous!”

the staff is so kind and courteous!! we enjoyed the nachos, drinks and bathrooms (not gonna lie, it's hard to find one on Clark St.) great decor for the holidays and they capture the essence of Chicago heritage with everything you see inside!! I truly felt like I was in the heart of the city enjoying a meal!!

I left the restaurant and as I was heading to my car I said to myself: that was delicious. I ordered shrimp in garlic sauce. The two were combined perfectly. The garlic sauce wasn't overpowering the other flavors. The dish also had rice and beans. Fresh rice - soft texture, good flavor. Everything was good. Enjoy.

I love this Mexican spot. Free chips and salsa still. The salsa tastes so fresh and the perfect amount of heat. The margs are strong and the chorizo tacos are my fave. Love the rice too!
