“Best Mexican restaurant in Lakeview! Not only is the food amazing, but the ambience is spectacular, with two very cute well lit outdoor patios and ample indoor seating too. We had incredible service from Fernanda, very kind, sweet, prompt, professional and courteous. We will definitely be back soon. I highly recommend El Jardin!”

“I had an incredible experience at El Jardin, a family-owned Mexican restaurant located at 3335 N Clark St, Chicago. From the moment we walked in, you can tell this is a place run with love and passion for authentic Mexican cuisine. I ordered the Carne Asada plate, and it was absolutely delicious perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. My son enjoyed his mole plate, which he said was so flavorful, and his shrimp plate was just right not too spicy, just the right amount of heat. We also shared two plates of nachos, which were cheesy, crispy, and packed with flavor. Everything was fresh and incredibly tasty. The service was good friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Plus, there's plenty of parking available, which made our visit even more convenient. It’s clear that this restaurant is a labor of love from a family I’m related to, and it truly shows in the quality of the food. If you’re in Chicago and craving authentic Mexican food, I highly recommend stopping by El Jardin. You won’t regret it I’ll definitely be returning soon!”

“Margaritas are the 🔥 . That's what they are known for. Had the mole enchiladas, they were delicious. Definitely recommend!”

“Margaritas are the bomb 💣. Chicken fajitas are awesome, my partner and i shared the serving size was enough to share. Shrimp quesadillas are amazing! Definitely appreciated the service and chill vibes of the atmosphere. Def 100% would recommend”

“El Jardin is a local Mexican restaurant known for their awesome Margaritas! Sit at the bar, the indoor dining room or their outdoor patio that looks onto the street. Yummy chips and salsa that come in a pancake syrup container which makes it easy to refill your own salsa dish or add onto your entree. The menu is offers a variety of dishes made on the premises. I enjoyed three street size tacos with rice and beans. Their are four choices of meat to choose from. I had steak, pork, and chicken. Very fresh and very yummy! I enjoyed my lunch thoroughly. My husband had the three enchilada dish with the green Chile Verde sauce. Another yummy choice! We both had their famous margaritas on the rocks, mine with salt. Attentive staff was a plus to this amazingly delicious lunch!”

“This is one of those classic Mexican joints, with quality food and margs that are unique (hint: they use lemon juice). Not a Wrigley resident, but I LOVED my green chile enchiladas. Also the view of sports with a muscle-bound Mexican and semi-naked Mexican woman was well worth the price of admission.”

“The pricing of this place is just absurd. I have NEVER been to a restaurant that put market price on tacos. Market price? For steak tacos?? Did you slaughter the beef fresh this morning?? Stop playing. 4% transaction fee on cards, two cards max per check. You have to pay for chips and salsa--cheap. Most of the table got $16, $17 margaritas, and they came in plastic cups. Cheap. They even had a limited menu because it was a Cubs game day. I get that some of these things are designed to keep things simpler on busy days, but it's also clear that they're gouging people and using Cubs games as an excuse. I'm a Sox fan trying to have a nice dinner, and I don't appreciate being roped into that mess. With all that out of the way, the food was delicious! Our server, Michael, was fantastic. Maybe going back on a non Cubs game day with actual glasses and a full menu would be more pleasant, but I'm over it.”
“This place is actually incredible. Not only is everyone so nice and fun and welcoming, but the food is FREAKING FABULOUS. Truly a one of a kind restaurant in Chicago. Oh wait, also the meat in the tacos…HEFTY HELPING. THE SALSA 10/10. the tortillas???!!? Life changing. Come here.”
