“FANTASTIC customer service, amazing food and the best drinks in town, must try the Carne Asada.”

“We ended up here on a whim. I had no idea what to expect. The margaritas were some of the best I've ever had. The salsa was a different than what you get at most Mexican restaurants but it was good. I ordered one of the daily specials, the braised lamb shank. It was HUGE, fall apart tender and juicy. The sauce that was served with the lamb shank was great and the cheddar polenta was creamy and savory. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised.”

“Great place for drinks. Great service and the house beer was awesome.”

“Ordered enchilada dinner, soup, and 3 tacos to say the least I won’t be back here, the food definitely wasn’t worth what I paid for it chicken was shredded instead of diced for the enchiladas and they were served with a bunch of shredded cheese on them instead of queso blanco, food was flavorless, portions were small to add insult to the matter, even the free chips and salsa were a disgrace. Hopefully this review hits home and they reconsider what they are serving out the door. I’ve eaten many of places all over and if I like it I leave a review or vice versa if it’s disgusting I leave a review so that other people can see and so that the establishment can correct the quality.”

“This was my first visit, and unfortunately, it will be my last. I was excited to try the fish tacos, but the experience fell far short of expectations. The Paloma I ordered was flat and flavorless—disappointing coming from a Mexican restaurant that should know how to make a proper one. I specifically asked for a corn tortilla and was given flour instead. The fish itself was clearly not fresh—just small, fish stick-like pieces that seemed microwaved and thrown into a tortilla. To make matters worse, I was incorrectly charged for my friend’s tab—even though she had already paid—and had to go through the hassle of getting it refunded and then repaying for mine. Overall, this visit was a letdown from start to finish. I won’t be returning.”
“My wife and I just moved to the neighborhood and wanted to try new places for dinner so we ordered takeout from Don Juan’s Cantina. We were so impressed with the food that we had to come back. Since we have a dog, I called to ask if dogs were allowed on the patio. They happily welcomed us and even brought out a bowl of water for our pup. That level of hospitality really stood out. Great food, great service, and genuinely friendly staff. Don Juan’s Cantina has definitely earned my wife and me as loyal customers. Highly recommend!”
“My wife had the Tostadas and Los Nachos, both were excellent! Authentic Mexican cuisine made with fresh ingredients. It's so nice to experience a meal that isn't reheated Sysco products. The atmosphere is also Authentic, reminded us of Cozmel. Friendly service as well.”
“We didn't eat here we were trying Chicago Deep Dish next door. You were kind enough to allow my family to use a chair. You allowed us to use your restrooms thank you so much. You have the cleanest most elegant bathroom I have ever used in a business. I literally felt the need to wipe the water drips off the glass when I reached to get paper towel. We did purchase drinks to say thank you for your generosity.”
“Everyone was so amazing here! Great staff and customer service. Great drinks. 10/10!”
