We’ve been here multiple times for birthday brunches and it’s always been so much fun!! Bottomless mimosas for 2 hours and a great DJ playing Latin music on Sunday’s. The staff is very attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful. The owners really went all out on making this place look vibrant and fun. Pictured is the Cochinita Benedict which is unique with the esquite fritter. We’ve also had the avocado toast, guacamole, coconut French toast and Churroulette (careful one has habanero!) and all were good!! I definitely recommend this place for a fun date, girl’s night or birthday event!!!

Went for Sunday brunch for my sister's birthday. They had an awsome DJ. Drinks were strong and delicious. I tried the margarita flight. They also had bottomless mimosas. They even brought out a birthday sash and crown for my sister!!

A Valentine’s Day to Remember! We came here for Valentine’s Day, and WOW—what an unforgettable experience! From the incredible food to the top-tier hospitality, everything exceeded our expectations. The management and staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. Now, about the food… 🔥 Korean Tacos – Bursting with flavor, these were an instant favorite. 🐍 Rattlesnake Burger – The perfect balance of heat and savoriness, with sauces that elevate every bite. My only wish? A little more spice! If you order something called "Rattlesnake" and don’t expect a bite, that’s on you. 😂 Yes, you might see reviews mentioning slow service, but here’s the real deal: management here is ON IT. If you need anything, they make it happen. Huge thanks to the team for making our day so special—we’ll definitely be back!

Love, love, love everything about Tabu Chicago. The staff and service are top notch. The food was delicious, steak with chimichurri & the bone marrow were mouth watering, will order this again! The Original Sin hibiscus margarita, MIST HAVE ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Don't forget dessert! Kevin was fabulous and took care of us all night, ask for him!

This is a great restaurant to celebrate a birthday or special occasion. I have been there a few times to celebrate friends’ birthdays. The food was really good! We ordered a large format cocktail, The Original Sin it serves 8-10 portions. We were a group of 6 and we had more than enough drinks for all us. Definitely worth ordering. One big plastic is that starting at 10pm they have a dj and it becomes a Latin Club. You can stay after dinner to dance!

Amazing restaurant to go to with friends. Ran late, but they were very understanding. The service was top notch. Food omg! Was amazing. For starters, we tried the delicious grilled octopus and tlayuda "nachos”. Next, we had the pan-seared striped sea bass and rattlesnake burger. Both options were very delicious. Will definitely come back for more.

Delicious food, nice service, good atmosphere. The food was yummy, we enjoyed the corn fritters, bone marrow tacos, ceviche, fries, the yummy burger (I forgot the name), the mussels, and drinks was all good! There was a little confusion with the Mexican pizza, my friend just asked what's the flavor like for her kid and when they said it was spicy for the kid then she didn't order it, but they still made the pizza that we didn't order, so when it delivered to our table we sent it back, when we are paying we are glad that we checked our bill because the pizza was included, so we politely said there was a confusion, and they were nice to fixed it for us. Our waitress was very nice too.

We had dinner somewhere else so we came here for drinks and desert. Had the margarita flight in the tajin and coconut hibiscus rims and they were tasty! On the sweet side but so good! Also had a flight of their infused tequilas and wow, soooo good! Their flan and churrolette were amazing!! We will definitely go back for more and to try the food. I highly recommend!

Atmosphere: the decor is absolutely stunning! Strongly recommended to book ahead via OpenTable! It was packed for Saturdays brunch- 30 minute wait w/o reservations (not bad!) Food: Asked the hostess what she recommends and ordered the crumpets. I was deciding between the French toast and this and I’m glad I went with the crumpets. I would order this dish again; it was flavorful and well seasoned. Service: excellent.

I went to Tabu for restaurant week 2024 and OH MY GOODNESS. The food was not just fantastic but so filling! The DJ kept the atmosphere light and fun (I wanted to get up and dance the whole time) and the decor of the restaurant is just beautiful!! Highly recommend going for restaurant week and in general - the chefs know exactly what they’re doing at Tabu
