“The staff and service are incredible. Oscar is the man and actually gave us the history of Diego’s restaurant. You can tell this establishment takes pride in what they do. The food is unreal, the tuna tostada is the winning lottery ticket. I’ve been around and this is easily my favorite tostada. The asada Sunday event is more than just a cookout. It’s an experience!”

“Dropped by for dinner before going to a concert at the United Center. Excellent find, we were able to find street parking quickly. The restaurant it self was busy and lively with many screens showing the World Cup games. We were seated right away, however indoor seating is a tight squeeze but we were comfortable at our table. Service was very good and the service staff were very attentive ☺️. Our orders were taken quickly and food came out at a decent rate of time. All dishes we had were well enjoyed! We had chips, salsa, gauc appetizer. Burritos Bowl, Diego Cali Burrito, Steak Tacos, Steak Tostada. All were good and well enjoyed 😋. Additionally, had a couple of cocktails, the Flora Marada which was excellent and bursting with flavor. Really enjoyed our dinning experience here. Please don't hesitate to give it a try.”

“Had an amazing experience at Diego Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The asada was full of flavor, and both the ceviche and aguachiles were incredibly fresh and tasty. The tacos are definitely a must try, and we couldn’t leave without trying their flan — the perfect way to end the meal. Huge shout out to the chefs for such an incredible meal and experience. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. Definitely recommend and we’ll absolutely be going back!”

“Great outdoor patio in west town with fantastic margaritas!!”

“Awarded one of the best Mexican restaurants in Chicago, Diego is a must stop. The food is very flavorful and they have a wide variety of cocktails. They also have local beers on tap and my favorite was the lager. The staff is very friendly and the entire restaurant has a fun joyous vibe.”

“We had an amazing brunch. It’s family friendly and the food is delicious. The steak fries 😍”
