“If i could give it 6 stars out of 5 i would.”
If i could give it 6 stars out of 5 i would. I went for (late) lunch, almost 4pm, and got the fattoush and the combo mixed platter. Both were absolutely delicious. The hummus was super fresh, and everything tasted like it is truly supposed to taste. The food was ready fast, and the portions were giant (had to take a bunch of leftovers home, and I am so looking forward to eat them later) I would totally come back to this place, without a doubt PD: the photos are kinda trash but i was starving so i only remembered to take pictures once i was halfway through the meal lol

“This place is located in the back of a jewelry store and it was amazing.”
This place is located in the back of a jewelry store and it was amazing. I happened to notice the sign in front of the jewelers and we are so glad we decided to go in. The food was delicious, super fresh ingredients and you can taste the food was made with genuine passion. Our favorite dish had to be the hummus and falafel you could taste how fresh the ingredients were and overall to die for!

“Hole in the wall set inside a Jewelry Store.”
Hole in the wall set inside a Jewelry Store. Good eats for cheap in the heart of Downtown Chicago. Great place to go for lunch save a little bit of money and have an non-Instagram chicago experience. Place was super crowded with workers on their lunch.

“This place is indeed an oasis among unhealthy or overpriced food scenes in the area.”
This place is indeed an oasis among unhealthy or overpriced food scenes in the area. The food is indeed delicious with generous portion at the reasonable price. The falafel is indeed crispy, the side veggie dishes are on point, and the chicken stew simply fell of the bones effortlessly. Highly recommended if you are craving Mediterranean food: not fancy but authentic and worth your money!

“I ordered the chicken shwarma sandwich and the falafel appetizer.”
I ordered the chicken shwarma sandwich and the falafel appetizer. For starters the food court vibe is charming and the staff was fast and friendly. The food was really good. Flavorful and cooked perfectly. The chicken has great authentic flavor and was juicy. The falafel was smooth and moist on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. I’ll be back to try more!

“I was looking for something yummy and affordable in the loop and came across The Oasis Cafe.”
I was looking for something yummy and affordable in the loop and came across The Oasis Cafe. Located behind a jewelry store, it was easy to find. The reviews I read were good, so I decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint. I got a chicken shwarma plate with hummus (you could also get rice instead of hummus) plus two falafels (I think they are only $1 each), and it came with a little salad and pita bread. It was so good! Smelled, wonderful, and tasted amazing. The falafel especially was probably one of the best, if not the best, I've had. So flavorful. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you want a delicious, flavorful, and filling meal!
