First and foremost, our waiter was so accommodating to us and our party. We ordered a ton of options from the menu such as the buns (variety), green beans, egg rolls, sesame chicken, orange chicken, pork rice, sautéed beef, and pork ribs. This place had some of the BEST Chinese food my family and I have had in a very long time. Everything was SO GOOD! We took some food back home and it was still so good the next day. We will be back!!

Extremely delicious! I’ve been passing by La Mom meaning to stop by for quite some time, and finally got dinner there last night. I cannot overstate how fresh, tender, and delicious the food was! I love Chinese and particularly Szechuan cuisine, and the spice balance in the boiled beef with chili sauce was perfection (and very tender meat and veggies). Star of the show was sautéed cabbage! One of the most delicious veggie (with a little meat fyi) dishes I’ve had in a while. Thank you for a great dinner (+leftovers) La Mom Kitchen!

Delicious food! Everything was so flavorful and fresh, the beef from the stir fry and chow fun were incredibly tender and the Szechuan style green beans were amazing. We also got the bbq pork buns which were perfectly steamed. Would definitely come back here.

We had dinner at this newly opened Shanghai cuisine restaurant and the food was really good and authentic. The bosses and staff were also very friendly. Didn't manage to take pictures of all the food we had. If you like sweet and savoury dishes, definitely get the 红烧肉 or braised pork belly and the crispy prawns. The 酸菜鱼 (fish with preserved vegetables) was also really good but a bit too spicy for someone who doesn't take chilli. Good for those who like their spice. The spice level of the other vegetable dishes were more manageable and were really tasty and interesting if you haven't had mala before. We also had some off menu dishes like the roasted duck and pork ribs which were really tender and crispy on the outside.

Super tasty food. I think it may be part Shanghainese cuisine, and some dishes have flavors I associate with Sichuan. I thought the meatball was excellent, pork belly and water chestnut flavors. The cauliflower was wonderful as well. And the tea was very comforting. The only downsides are that the vents in the dining area are a little loud, and a breeze kept coming in the door on one visit, but hey both times it was definitely worth it and I'll be returning!

2nd visit in a row after our delightful experience at Naperville branch last night. This time is at their 2nd location. Loved the Preserved Vegetable Fish Soup, La Mom Red Braised Pork, Jin Cheng Grilled Pork Ribs and Shanghai Glutinous Ball in Wine Sauce !

A hidden gem of a restaurant. The menu hosted list amazing selections. We ordered belly, fish, pork, veggies, drinks, etc. All spot on. Simply delicious. The price was fair. The server was excellent, both helpful and knowledgeable. The place is contemporary but, could use a remodel. Will be coming back again.
