As a tuna lover, I’m blown away every single time. Their tuna is unbelievably fresh and melt-in-your-mouth good. And if you’re not in a sushi mood, their flank steak is a must-try — tender, juicy, and a hidden gem on the menu. One of the things that makes Jin Ju so special is that it’s a woman-owned business, led by an incredible woman chef whose passion shows in every dish. his was my first time ever having Korean food, and it was amazing. Not entirely what I expected, but in the best way. I came with a friend who knows the cuisine well and handled the ordering for the table, so I knew I was in good hands. Our server was incredibly kind and helpful, guiding us on what Soju to try and checking in throughout the meal. The restaurant itself felt chic and modern with a calm, welcoming atmosphere. If I ever make my way back to Chicago, this will definitely be one of the first places I return to.

This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and I must say the dishes I ordered were absolutely delightful. You can truly taste the authenticity of the Korean cuisine. I also love the way each dish was beautifully plated, which added even more depth to the experience. The restaurant has a unique vibe and an amazing atmosphere that makes it stand out. The server was very attentive, and the host was welcoming and kind. Jinju has truly set the standard for Korean dining. I will definitely return to try more dishes and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. 💙🇰🇷

I’ve been here a couple times and both the food and service have been fantastic. I recommend the Pajun (both types!) and the Kim Bap to start and all of the entries are super flavorful. They’re also willing to substitute and add on to make the dish to your liking. The extra spicy Bulgogi was incredible! I’ll definitely be taking everyone I know here!

I have been here many times and the food is always spot on and consistent! Quality is amazing for its price! The spicy dishes are truly spicy which I appreciate. I love their bulgolgi, bibimbap, kalbi, and fried chicken. Their dishes are savory, sweet, and addicting. If you like seafood, you will like their stone pot dish chu gu mi dol sut bibimbap. I will definitely come back to try other dishes. Ambience and service are great! It’s a good sit down restaurant for a relaxing or romantic dinner with a couple of cocktails!

“This place was such a good find!”

This place was such a good find!! Everything tasted great and came out fairly quickly. Cocktails were interesting. Service was lacking a bit though.. we only saw our server when putting in our order. Not many table touches at all. We would’ve ordered another round of drinks and possibly another roll if we were checked on.

“Every time I come here, I feel restored and satiated.”

Every time I come here, I feel restored and satiated! My father grew up in Korea and introduced me to Korean food as a child, so coming here is always a treat. The staff is always kind and helpful and the food is delightful and delicious. Our Bim Bi Bop was served after a Miso soup and small bites of fermented radish, broccoli, potato salad, with sides of gochujang and Kim chi. This restaurant is very popular, so be sure to make a reservation or walk in off peak hours. If you are looking for an authentic, classy Korean meal, I would highly recommend Jin Jui!

I had an amazing time at Jin Ju. The cucumber soju cocktail was so refreshing. We split steamed Mandoo, beef bulgogi, and kalbi short ribs. Everydish was wonderful, and the sides were the perfect pairing. I only wish there had been a little more of the sides, just because they were soooo goood!
